Intex Technologies has launched the SMASH BT, a Bluetooth sound box along with range of multimedia speakers in India. It is compact, has a eye catching and comes with integrated subwoofer for powerful, deep lows without distortion. It has range of connectivity options including a iPod, iPhone and iPad dock, Bluetooth, LineIn, AUX and Video Out. Since this has a standard connector and not the lightning connector used in the latest iPhone 5, 5S, 5C and the latest iPod touch, you can’t dock these in the speaker. Intex Aqua HD with 4.7-inch HD display, quad-core processor now available for Rs. 14999

Intex launched the Aqua i7, the company’s flagship Android smartphone earlier this week, Aqua HD appeared on the official website on the same day. The phone is now available from online retailer Infibeam in India. It has a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek 6589 processor and runs on Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 13-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Intex launched the Aqua i7, the company’s flagship Android smartphone at an event earlier today. Now the Aqua HD, a new smartphone has appeared on the official website. It has a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek 6589 processor and runs on Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 13-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. This would compete with the iBall Andi 4.7G Cobalt since both have similar features. Intex has launched the Aqua i7, the company’s latest flagship smartphone in the Aqua series. It has a 5.0-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display, powered by 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589T processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 13-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED Flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It has Matrabhasha a multi-lingual application introduced with the entry-level phones recently. It lets users operate the phone in preferred regional language supporting upto 22 regional languages. Intex to launch a new smartphone next week, hints at next-gen Wonder series phone

Intex has just sent out a media invite for the launch of next-gen premium smartphone. The phone would be launched by their brand ambassador, director and actor Farhan Akthar. The press invite says “Gorge your eyes on the newest wonder in town” which hints at a new smartphone in the Wonder series. The Intex Aqua Wonder smartphone was launched earlier this year, the successor Aqua Wonder Quadcore with a quad-core processor was launched in April. Intex launched the Aqua I-5, the company’s latest flagship smartphone back in June, that we reviewed recently. Now a younger brother, Aqua I-4 has been listed on the official Intex website along with the Intex Cloud Y5. Intex launched the Cloud Y2 earlier this month, and the Cloud Y5 has a larger display, but it runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). The Aqua i-4 has a 5-inch display, powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). The Cloud Y5 would be powered by a dual-core processor. Intex was the first company to launch an affordable Android smartphone, the Cloud X3 running on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). We have the device for unboxing and review. It is powered by the latest MediaTek MT6572 chip with Mali-400 MP GPU that has integrated Wi-Fi, FM, GPS and Bluetooth. Both the Cloud X1 and the Cloud X2 had a single-core processor. Sadly the Cloud X3 doesn’t have 3G support, but for the affordable price tag of Rs. 3790, it is acceptable. Intex has also launched the the Cloud X4 recently, which has a 3.2MP rear camera and 3G support.

Intex Cloud X4 and Cloud Y2 with Android 4.2 launched for Rs. 4590 and Rs. 6190

Intex has launched two new phones in the Cloud series, the Intex Cloud X4 and the Cloud Y2. The Cloud X4 is the successor of the Cloud X3 that was launched last month. Most the specifications are similar to the Cloud X3 including a 3.5-inch display and a 1 GHz dual-core processor, but this has a 3.2-megapixel rear camera instead of the 2MP camera. It also comes with a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. The Cloud Y2 packs a 4-inch (480 x 800 pixels) display, powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor. It comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. Both these phones runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS and has 3G support.

Intex is all set to launch the i-Buddy Connect II 3G, successor of i-Buddy Connect 3G tablet that was launched earlier this year. The tablet has appeared on the official website and is also available from online retailer ShopClues. It has a 7-inch (800 x 400 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core Cortex A5 processor and runs on Android 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It comes with a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes pre-loaded with Facebook , Nimbuzz, Skype, Gtalk , Yahoo Messenger apps and games including Fruit Ninja, Moto Racing, Alpine, Angry Bird, Chess , Carrom and more.

Intex has partnered with MediaTek for the launch and the smartphone is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572 chip that has integrated Wi-Fi, FM, GPS and Bluetooth.
