itel mobiles today launched the itel S42 and itel A44 smartphones with a full-screen display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Apart from these two phones, the company announced the itel A44 Pro. itel Mobile, one of the latest entrant to the Indian smartphone market has launched it1520, its latest selfie-focused smartphone with a 13-megapixel camera. Even though the company says that it has an Iris scanner, looking at the images it doesn’t seem like it has a dedicated iris scanner like the Samsung Galaxy Note7 for biometric unlocking. The smartphone will likely use the 13-megapixel front-facing camera to scan the patterns in the eye, offering password-free unlocking solution. This is used in ZTE phones.
