Karbonn has launched Titanium Hexa, the company’s latest smartphone with a hexa-core processor. It has a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) LTPS (Low temperature polysilicon) type display with scratch resistant and oleophobic coating, powered by 1.5 GHz hexa-core MediaTek MT6591 processor with true multi-core solution and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a 13-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED Flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Karbonn Titanium Hexa

Karbonn is all set to launch the Titanium Hexa, the company’s first phone powered by a hexa-core processor. The phone has appeared on the official website and packs a  5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) LTPS (Low temperature polysilicon) type display, powered by 1.5 GHz hexa-core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a 13-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED Flash and packs a 2050 mAh battery. Detailed specifications of the phone such as RAM and memory are not available yet. Karbonn launched the Titanium X with a 5-inch 1080p display recently.

Karbonn, Lava to reportedly launch affordable Windows Phone handsets in few months

Karbonn, Lava and Xolo would launch smartphones running on Windows Phone in coming months, according to a recent report from TOI. Last month at the Mobile World Congress, Microsoft announced nine new Windows Phone partners, that includes Karbonn and Xolo from India. Karbonn to introduce new start screen interface for its smartphones based on Start by Celltick

Celltick, popular for its Start and LiveScreen, today announced its partnership with Karbonn Mobiles to launch an intelligent interface for Android consumers based on Start. The company already announced that OEMs can partner with them to create own flavor of Start. Celltick will create a custom interface based on its Start application, that becomes a default start screen interface to Karbonn’s Android smartphones. Microsoft partners with 9 more manufacturers for more Windows Phones

One of the main reasons that Windows Phones haven’t sold as much as Android smartphones is because of the lack of manufacturers. At launch, Microsoft had only a handful of manufacturers and as Windows Phone grew, the number of manufacturers shrunk and at one point, Microsoft bought out Nokia, which was probably the only company making Windows Phones.

The Karbonn Titanium S5 Plus is one of the latest budget devices to enter the Indian market. The phone is powered by a 1.3Ghz quad core processor and is paired with 1GB of RAM. The display is a 5 inch panel with a resolution of 960×540. It has a 13-megapixel auto focus rear camera with Dual LED Flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Karbonn launched the Titanium S5, the company’s first smartphone with a 5-inch qHD screen earlier this year, now the successor Titanium S5+ with a faster 1.3GHz quad-core processor (probably MediaTek MT6582) is on sale from online retailers Snapdeal and Saholic in India. It has a 5-inch qHD IPS screen similar to its predecessor, but this is based on On-Cell capacitive touch solution. It runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), packs an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with dual SIM support with dual standby, similar to other Karbonn smartphones.
