OnePlus 3 vs LeEco Le Max 2 – What’s Different
Earlier this month, LeEco announced their Le Max 2 smartphone which officially became the first smartphone to be announced in India with 6GB of RAM. LeEco Type-C CDLA earphones launched in India for Rs. 1990
LeEco introduced its new Type-C earphones in China back in April. Today the company has launched the earphones in India at the launch event of Le 2 and Le Max 2 smartphones. Both these phones use CDLA (Continual Lossless Digital Audio) technology for an enhanced audio experience and replaces 3.5mm audio jack with USB Type-C audio.

LeEco just launched Le 2, the company’s latest smartphone in the Le 2 series. It was introduced in China back in April and packs a 5.5-inch 1080p display, has 3GB of RAM, runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), has a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera, but the Indian version has a Snapdragon 652 SoC instead of MediaTek Helio X20 SoC in the Chinese version. LeEco forays into offline retail space in India with the Le 1s
LeEco entered into the Indian market earlier this year with the launch of Le 1s smartphone at a competitive price tag of Rs. 10,999 exclusively on Flipkart. Today the company has announced its foray into the offline retail space in the country with the Le 1s. It will start selling the smartphone in New Delhi and Mumbai in the first phase and will expand by opening 70% retail stores across India that contribute to mobile sales, by the end of September 2016. LeEco schedules an event in India on June 8, Le 2, Le 2 Pro and Le Max 2 expected
[Update: The latest teaser reveals that it will launch the Le 2 smartphone in India on June 8]
LeEco India just sent an invite for an event on June 8th. The company is expected to launch the Le 2, Le 2 Pro and Le Max smartphones at the event. These phones were unveiled in China last month, come with a unibody metal design, fingerprint sensor and have new Continual Digital Lossless Audio (CDLA) audio standard for loss-less audio through USB Type-C port and doesn’t have 3.5mm audio jack.
