LeEco today introduced the Le 1s Eco, the company’s new ‘Made for India’ smartphone at an event in Mumbai. It is the same Le 1s that was launched in the country earlier this year, but this comes with 10 Indian languages – Kannada, Tamil, Marathi, Assamese, Bengali, Malayalam, Telugu, Gujarati, Punjabi and Odia. LeEco entered into the Indian market earlier this year with the launch of Le 1s and Le Max smartphones in the country that were launched exclusively on Flipkart. It recently unveiled Le 2, Le 2 Pro and Le Max 2 smartphones at an event in China that are expected to launch in India soon. Now the company has renewed its exclusive partnership with Flipkart that was signed off by Atul Jain COO Smart Electronics Business on behalf of LeEco and Flipkart.

LeEco yesterday announced three new smartphones – Le 2, Le 2 Pro and Le Max 2 that replaces the 3.5mm audio for USB Type-C audio. It also introduced its own CDLA (Continual Lossless Digital Audio) technology for an enhanced audio experience. At the event it also introduced new earphones and noise-cancelling headphones. The noise-cancelling headphones draw power from the phone over USB Type-C so it doesn’t need a battery. JBL introduced Reflect Aware C, its first noise-cancelling earphones in partnership with HTC recently. Earlier this year LeEco joined hands with Aston Martin to develop an electric car. Today at its Beijing event LeEco introduced its first driverless concept car – LeSEE. It has large and flamboyant LED screen. “This concept car mainly takes on the idea of “interconnection”; not only does it have fully- automatic driving functions, it can also learn on its own, with facial recognition, emotion recognition, system recognition and path recognition,” said the company.

LeEco Le 2 with a Helio X20 got certified by TENAA in China recently, now the LeEco Le 2 Pro (X820) with 6GB of RAM and Snapdragon 820 SoC has surfaced on GFXBench and Geekbench benchmarks. It also coincides with earlier rumors that revealed a 5.5-inch Quad HD screen 21-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It is also expected to come with a fingerprint sensor and come with metal body.
