Lenovo today announced S5 Pro GT, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in China, couple of months after it introduced S5 Pro. It is powered by Snapdragon 660 compared to 636, and other specifications are similar, including a 6.18-inch Full HD+ display with 18.7:9 aspect ratio, up to 6GB of RAM, Android 8.1 (Oreo) with ZUI 5.0, 20-megapixel rear camera along with a secondary 12-megapixel camera with AI portraits and 2x loss-less zoom. Lenovo Z5 Pro GT world’s first smartphone with Snapdragon 855, up to 12GB RAM announced

Lenovo announced its mid-range Z5 Pro with a slider design and Snapdragon 710 SoC in China. Today the company has announced the Z5 Pro GT, top-end version of the phone with the latest Snapdragon 855 SoC and up to 12GB of RAM, making the phone first in the world to feature both.It also comes with Carbon Back with carbon fiber finish under the glass with Red and Black accents on the sides similar to a sports car. The company also said that the 12GB RAM version will let you open 50 apps at the same time.

Lenovo Z5s with 6.3-inch FHD+ water drop notch display, Snapdragon 710, triple rear cameras, Android Pie announced

Lenovo just announced the Z5s, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in the ‘Z series’ in China, as it had promised. It has a 6.39-inch Full HD+ 19.5:9 aspect ratio display with 92.6% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by Snapdragon 710 with up to 6GB of RAM, runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with ZUI 10 on top, has triple rear cameras, 16-megapixel primary camera, secondary 8-megapixel telephoto lens for 2x zoom and a 5-megapixel camera for capturing depth information in porait shots. It also comes with a 16-megapixel front camera in the notch.

Update – December 7, 2018: Even though Lenovo CEO Chang Cheng teased December 6 announcement for the Z5s smartphone. Yesterday insted of announcement, he just posted a photo on weibo showing the phone’s triple rear cameras.

Lenovo L78071 with 6.3-inch water-drop notch display, triple rear cameras gets certified

A new Lenovo smartphone with model number L78071 has been certified by TENAA. This shows a 6.3-inch waterdrop notch display, metal finsh on the back and the sides, triple rear cameras with the third camera present separately, similar to Huawei P20 Pro.

Lenovo just announced the Z5 Pro, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in the ‘Z series’ in China, as it had promised. It has a 6.39-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED  19.5:9 aspect ratio display with 2.07mm ultra narrow bezels and 95.06% screen-to-body ratio. It has a slider design that hides the 16-megapixel front camera, earpiece and the 8-megapixel IR face unlock. The company says that the sliding mechanism has been tested to last 300,000 times. Lenovo, Sony sign two-year patent agreement for Mirage Solo virtual reality headset

Lenovo Z5 Pro with full-screen display, slide-out design, in-display fingerprint sensor to be announced on November 1

After the Z5 and S5 Pro, Lenovo is all set to introduce the Z5 Pro smartphone in China. The company’s CEO Chang Cheng has announced that the phone will be introduced on November 1st. He also posted a teaser of the smartphone that reveals a slide-out design, which is the latest trend in smartphone. The design reduces the bezels, offering high screen-to-body ratio.

In addition to S5 Pro, Lenovo also introduced the K5 Pro and K5s smartphones. The K5 Pro packs a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio, is powered by Snapdragon 636 with up to 6GB of RAM, runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) with ZUI on top, has a 16-megapixel front and rear cameras along with a 5-megapixel secondary front and rear cameras, both with LED flash and AI portraits. It has a fingerprint sensor on the back and packs a 4050mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.

Along with the K9, Lenovo has also launched A5, the company’s latest budget smartphone in India. It was introduced in China back in June. It has a 5.45-inch HD+ display, is powered by MediaTek MT6739 SoC with up to 3GB RAM, comes with 13-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front camera, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, face unlock and packs a 4000mAh battery.

It has 5.7-inch HD+ 2.5D curved glass display, is powered by MediaTek Helio P22 12nm SoC and runs Android 8.1 (Oreo). It has a 13-megapixel front camera along with a secondary 5-megapixel camera, offers 9 levels of natural bokeh improvement from f/1.0 to f/1.6, AI features for India, face unlock that can unlock the phone in 0.3-seconds. Lenovo schedules a smartphone launch event in India on October 16

It has been over one year since Lenovo launched a smartphone in India. After the launch of K8 Plus and K8 smartphones back in September last year, the company is gearing to launch its Killer smartphone in India. The company calls its K series Note smartphones ‘Killer Note’ so there are chances we can expect the successor to the K8 Note that was launched back in August last year.
