The LG KW838 Chocolate

I am a Reliance user and have been meaning to upgrade my handset for a very long time. I have a Nokia 6325 which is a neat handset, but lets face it, in the world of 3-5 megapixel cameras, MicroSD memory card options, Bluetooth, GPRS, GSM etc, this handset is antiquated.

But Reliance has few upgrade options that along with features, look super chic too. I don’t want a Black Berry, LG Chocolate hasn’t enough features, and the Nokia handsets by Reliance are just not good looking enough.

LG Viewty in India

India is touted to be the world’s fastest growing mobile marketplace. To prove that the company is serious about India’s status, LG launched its Viewty model in India.

LG to introduce mobile technology for medical purposes

Mobile phones do a lot these days. They are serving every purpose known to man to keep him informed and updated and to enable him to keep track of his appointments, commitments etc. Mobiles also help you keep connected.

Now mobile phones will also do much more. Nokia revealed the Eco Sensor concept a few days ago, which is a mobile phone and a sensing device that will help monitor your health and environment as well.

LG and a team of Canadian Researchers (from the University of Edmonton in Alberta) are busy inventing a system that will enable you to record your vital signs, such as temperature, heart rate and blood pressure, and then transmit them, through your cell phone to your doctor or medical assistant.

Sony Ericsson W890 Walkman Phone

Sony Ericsson launched its walkman model W880 a few months ago. It has now launched W890, its successor, with additional features. This handset is designed for entertainment and boasts features such as music, video, 3D games and high-speed web access.

LG launches Shine Titanium

Although LG Shine in Titanium was launched worldwide way back in July 2007, the handset was formally introduced in India on November 4, 2007.

The LG Shine Titanium is claimed to be the only mobile phone in the market with a Titanium finish metal body.

New LG GSM Models for the Indian Buyer

LG Electronics India Private Limited announced the launch of two new colour handsets; the KG 288, and the KG 285 for GSM users in India.

Even though these two models are entry level handsets targeting the low end of the user spectrum, they are rich with features to enable users to enjoy more features without paying through the roof.

LG Viewty KU990 to debut in Asia

LG’s high-end five million pixel camera phone with a 3-inch wide touch screen, Viewty (Model: LG-KU990)  is all set to make its debut in Asia starting in November.

The first Asian Nations where it will make its presence felt is Hong Kong and Singapore. It will make its Koran debut in mid December. India will follow suit, optimistically by early 2008, although there no reports confirming the same.
