Meizu has sent out invites for the announcement of M6 Note, successor of last year’s M5 Note smartphone in China on August 23. The company is expected to improve the performance and camera for the phone. The phone is expected to come with the same 5.5-inch 1080p display as the predecessor, but it is expected to be powered by MediaTek Helio P25 SoC with up to 4GB of RAM and pack a 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX258 sensor. Meizu PRO 7 and PRO 7 Plus with dual displays, dual rear cameras announced

Meizu just announced its flagship PRO 7 and PRO 7 Plus smartphones, as it had promised. The PRO 7 has a 5.2-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, while the PRO 7 Plus comes with a 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED screen. Both the phones have a 1.9-inch secondary Super AMOLED 307 PPI
display on the back to show info such as weather, time and notifications. These phones also has 12-megapixel dual rear cameras with monochrome and color sensors offering portrait images with background blur along with a 16-megapixel front camera. Meizu PRO 7 with dual screen, dual rear cameras to be announced on July 26

Meizu has finally sent out invites for the announcement of its flagship PRO 7 smartphone on July 26th. The invite confirms the secondary display on the back. It is tipped to be an E-ink display that we have seen on the Yotaphone. The company is also expected to announce PRO 7 Plus, a larger version of the phone.

We have LG incorporating an additional secondary display on its V series with LG V10 and V20. Now, it looks like Meizu is also planning to add secondary display to its smartphone however it will be on the back. The upcoming Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus have featured in a 3D render video that highlights the rear secondary display. The video was shared by popular tipster OnLeaks and Compareraja.

It was introduced in China back in October last year and packs a 5.2-inch HD 2.5D curved glass screen, is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core 64-bit MediaTek MT6750 processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) based FlyMe OS. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) that lets you focus in just 0.2 seconds and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with 4-LED dual-tone flash arranged in the antenna bands that promises bright and clear images even in poor lighting conditions. Meizu today announced its Super mCharge fast charging technology at the Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona, as it had promised. It claims that this is the the world’s quickest fast charging solution that can fully charge a phone with a 3000mAh battery from 0 to 100% in just 20 minutes. Meizu schedules an event on February 15, m5s with fast charging, metal body expected

Meizu today sent out invites for a new smartphone launch event in China on February 15th, a day after Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 4X event. Meizu is expected to introduce m5s, successor to last year’s m3s that got certified by TENAA back in December. According to the teaser the smartphone will come with improved fast charging, however the design is expected to be same as m3s. Meizu has announced its first fitness band called the Meizu Band at its M5 Note event in China. It has a concealed OLED screen that blends in with the band well, can track fitness data such as distance, number or steps and calories burnt, track sleep and also has a heart rate sensor on the back for 24-hour heart rate tracking.
