Meizu introduced its flagship MX6 smartphone last month. We brought you the unboxing of the phone recently, here we have the benchmarks. The MX6 is powered by a deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 processor that has two clusters of four ARM Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.39GHz per core and two bigger ARM Cortex-A72 cores clocked at 1.85GHz per core with Mali-T880 MP4 GPU. It has 4GB of RAM, packs a 5.5-inch 1080p display and runs on Flyme OS 5.2 based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). Check out the synthetic benchmark scores below. Qualcomm sues Meizu over alleged 3G/4G patent infringement in China
Qualcomm has filed a complaint against Meizu in the Beijing Intellectual Property Court against alleged violation of intellectual property. Meizu just announced m3s, an upgraded version of m3 smartphone an event in China. It packs a 5-inch HD screen with 2.5D curved glass display, is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core 64-bit MediaTek MT6750 processor and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with FlyMe OS 5.1 on the top. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) that lets you focus in just 0.2 seconds and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Meizu has scheduled an event in China on June 13, where it is expected to announce the Blue Charm Metal 2, successor to last year’s Blue Charm Metal smartphone.
