Meta expands NFT support on Instagram to 100 countries
Today, Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, has confirmed that the firm is starting to support NFT on Instagram worldwide. After the social network’s initial NFT test launch in May, the expansion began. Users and companies in more than 100 countries across Africa, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and the Americas will now be able to share their NFTs on Instagram thanks to this extension. Meta Quest v40 rolls out End-to-end encryption, app unlock, audio accessibility and more
For several years, Meta has already been working on Messenger’s End-To-End Encryption (E2EE) features, and it’s now piloting E2EE communications with its own Quest VR headsets. In addition, Meta is trialing additional encryption support for one-on-one conversations as well as calls in VR, and several other notable features such as App unlock, Secure payments, More keyboards, Audio accessibility, and more in the v40 software upgrade as per the company. Meta records $117.9 billion revenue in 2021; 2.82 billion Family daily active people in December 2021
Meta has released their earnings report for the last quarter 2021, along with earnings for the entire 2021 fiscal year. The company recorded $117.9 billion revenue during 2021, which is a 37% YoY growth, and the net income was recorded at $39.37 billion, which is growth of 35% YoY. In Q4 2021, they recorded $33.67 billion in revenue, growing 20% YoY, while the net income was $10.2 billion, declining 8% YoY.
