The Micromax In Note 1 went on sale in the country on November 24th as it had promised and the phones sold out in less than an hour. The company already confirmed that the second sale is set for December 1st. Last month, Micromax unveiled its new sub-brand ‘in’ and announced its comeback in the smartphone segment. The launch invite with the tag line ‘Aao Karein Cheeni Kum’ (let’s cut down on sugar, but the wordplay on ‘Cheeni’ word also refers to the Chinese) hinted at the anti-China sentiment and following that early this month, the company unveiled two new smartphones – Micromax IN Note 1 and Micromax IN 1b priced starting at Rs. 10,999 and Rs. 6999 respectively. Along with the Note 1, Micromax also launched its IN 1B smartphone under its new ‘IN’ brand, as it had promised. It has a 6.52-inch HD+ mini Drop LCD screen, is powered MediaTek Helio G35 SoC with up to 4GB of RAM, and runs Android 10 without any ads or bloatware. It features a 13-megapixel primary rear camera along with a 2-megapixel depth sensor and an 8-megapixel camera on the front.

Micromax today launched Infinity N11 and Infinity N12 smartphones, as it had promised. Micromax has launched two new Android Oreo (Go Edition) smartphones – Bharat 4 Diwali Edition and Bharat 5 Infinity Edition. Both these come with flash support for both the front and rear cameras and 5-inch screen, however the Bharat 5 Infinity Edition comes with a 18:9 aspect ratio display, fingerprint sensor on the back and packs a huge 5000mAh battery so that you can charge other devices easily. The company did not reveal display resolution or the SoC of the phones.
