Today the company made a bold move my acquiring the majority of the assets of Motorola’s wireless network business 1.2 billion USD . It’s pretty clear that this move will give NSN a boost in markets such as USA and Japan. NSN is powering the 3G networks of many operators in India which are expected to be operational this year.

Verizon Summer catalog leaked, confirms Droid 2!
BGR got their hands on the leaked Verizon Wireless Summer device catalog, in which we will see a lot of interesting things. The most interesting thing we will see is the successor of the Original Droid/Milestone (read our review), the Droid 2 (and the image above confirmed that the phone will be called Droid 2). We are only waiting for Verizon to come out and announce the Droid 2. Verizon and Motorola worked very hard on the Droid X which is about to hit the market on July 15th. Droid X is one of the best devices ever made by Motorola, and it’s going to be Verizon’s beloved flagship device. We also saw Verizon launching the Droid Incredible a while ago, which is no doubt a good phone. But the phone got evil eye of people who hate Verizon, and it goes out of stock due to the shortage of AMOLED screen. Motorola Milestone Review
Motorola was a successful company that enjoyed peak sales with their RAZR series of phones. But the sales went downhill as they were not able to bring out anything new other than phones that were quite similar to the RAZR phones in design and functionality but in different form-factors.
Motorola desperately needed a new device to revive the company by boosting sales. The answer to their problems was the Motorola MILESTONE/ DROID. It was Motorola’s attempt to recreate the success they had with the RAZR phones and it did work. The Motorla DROID which was first introduced in the US and the Motorola MILESTONE which is the GSM Version of the same phone was released worldwide. Motorola has enjoyed record breaking sales of the DROID in USA and MILESTONE also has received great feedback. So the question remains is whether the Milestone with worth the money ? Motorola WX445 Android device leaked, headed to Verizon?
Folks over at Engadget got their hands on the leaked screenshot of an upcoming Motorola Android device that will hit Verizon. The phone name is unknown but it’s model number is Motorola WX445. it’s a low-end Android phone, that’s running Android 2.1 with MotoBlur, It comes with an unknown pixel camera, the touchscreen is about 2.5 or 3 inches, and it’s running on 1170mAh battery. Engadget is told that it’s not an impressive device like the Droid X or EVO 4G, it’s just a simple cheap device for casual use. Motorola Milestone hits Korea as Motorola QRTY
One of Motorola’s most successful devices is the one and only Motorola Milestone, also known as Motorola Droid in USA. The Motorola Droid is the reason Motorola is still alive. And now the Motorola Milestone is making it’s way to Korea as Motorola QRTY via SK Telecom, and for the ease of the Korean people, the hardware keyboard also comes with Korean characters on it. T-Mobile second half roadmap leaked !
Folks over at AndroidSPIN got their hands on the unofficial T-Mobile roadmap, which shows a lot of new device making their way to T-Mobile. Well, not to much details on it because the picture is blurry. We can clearly see that T-Mobile is planning to launch 5 new Android devices, 2 from Motorola , 2 from HTC, and one from LG.
