Panasonic seems to have backed out of the smartphone race, but is now looking to bring back the home phones with its new Android powered home phone. The home phone will be running on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and will have a 3.5 inch HVGA display (320×480 pixels). Panasonic P11 with 5-inch HD display up for pre-order at Rs. 16890, T11 coming soon
Panasonic launched the P51, the company’s flagship smartphone in India recently, which we reviewed back in May. Now a new smartphone in the P Series, P11 is available for pre-order from online retailer Flipkart. The P11 has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor similar to the P51 and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). The company also plans to launch the T11 in the new T Series which would come with a 4-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). Panasonic P51 Review
Panasonic announced and launched its first and only smartphone for the Indian market – the Panasonic P51 last week. It is supposed to be its splashing entry into the crowded Indian smartphone market and everybody expected it to make an entry in the low-mid end segment where the volume is, so did we. But instead of following the “new manufacturer – low price” route, Panasonic did the opposite in bringing a flagship-like device with a price tag that you would attach to a mid-high end smartphone. Does Panasonic deliver in providing a premium experience for the price? Or is it just another me-too entry that is exorbitantly priced? Read on to find out.

Panasonic launched the P51, the company’s latest Android smartphone in India earlier this week. We brought you the photo gallery of the device recently. Here we have the benchmarks of the device. It has 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6589 Cortex A7 CPU clocked at 1.2 GHz with PowerVR SGX544 GPU. It runs on Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean). Panasonic has launched the P51, the company’s first smartphone in India, as we reported recently. The P51 has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display with scratch resistant Asahi Dragontrail glass, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 8MP rear camera with LED Flash, 1080p video recording and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The camera has beauty retouch, smile detection and more features. Panasonic introduces Windows 8, Android based Toughpad tablets in India
Panasonic today launched two new tablets amidst a range of products as part of their Toughpad range. The Windows 8 and Android running tablets have been built according to the MIL-STD-810G specification. The rugged shock proof, water proof and dust proof tablets are aimed at use in industries with harsh working environments and can survive falls from up to 4 feet.
