Panasonic has launched Eluga S Mini, the company’s latest smartphone in the Eluga series and a smaller version of Eluga S that was launched last year. It has a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, but other features are similar to the Eluga S, including a a 1.4 GHz True Octa-Core processor, Android 4.4 (KitKat), 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Panasonic has launched Toughpad FZ-E1 and Toughpad FZ-X1, new rugged smartphone in India. The Toughpad FZ-E1 runs on Windows Embedded 8.1 Handheld and is powered by a 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974AB) processor, and the Toughpad FZ-X1 runs Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) and is powered by a 1.7 GHz Qualcomm S4 Pro (APQ8064T) processor. Panasonic introduces new Qi-enabled wireless charging pad and portable chargers
Panasonic has launched three new Qi-enabled charging products in the U.S.. This includes 5,300mAh and 2,650mAh Qi portable chargers and a Qi wireless charging pad. These chargers are compatible with iPhone, other smartphones and tablets. These can be charged via USB or the Qi wireless charging pad, since these are Qi-enabled. Panasonic Eluga U Review
While there is no doubt that the US is the technology center of the world, it is also true that India is widely considered as the hotbed of smartphone competition. The country offers great opportunity to smartphone manufacturers both big and small to compete for a share of the untapped masses and get a share of the pie.
