POCO launched the POCO F3 GT smartphone in India last week as an upgrade to the POCO F1 which was launched back in 2018. This comes after the POCO X3 Pro, which was also promoted as a gaming phone. The main thing that differentiates the F3 GT from the X3 Pro is its gaming triggers. Also, the Dimensity 1200 SoC offers slightly better performance compared to the Snapdragon 860 in the X3 Pro. POCO X3 GT with 6.6-inch FHD+ 120Hz display, Dimensity 1100, 8GB RAM, 5000mAh battery, 67W fast charging announced

POCO just announced the POCO X3 GT, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in the X3 series in Malaysia, as it had promised. This is a rebranded Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G smartphone that was introduced in China in May. It packs a 6.6-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, Adaptive sync variable refresh rate to switch between 120Hz, 90Hz, 60Hz, 50Hz, 48Hz and 24Hz depending on the content, supports DCI-P3 color gamut and has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. POCO X2 MIUI Software Update Tracker [Update: MIUI 12.5 stable update starts rolling out]

POCO launched the POCO X2 smartphone in India last month, running MIUI 11.0 Global Stable on top of Android 10. POCO X2 is the rebranded version of Redmi K30 4G which was launched in China back in December. The smartphone has already started receiving Android 10 based MIUI 12 update.

POCO India acknowledges POCO X2 ‘camera not working’ issue, suggests solution

After a lot of complaints from POCO X2 users in India regarding the ‘camera not working’ issue, POCO has acknowledged the issue, saying that it has been reported by less than 0.2% of the total POCO X2 user base in India. For the affected users, the company has asked to follow the software solution protocol mentioned and added that this should fix the problem for the majority of the devices. POCO just confirmed the launch of the company first 5G phone in India, the POCO M3 Pro 5G on June 8th. As usual, it will be sold on Flipkart after the launch. It was introduced for global markets last month and is actually a version of the Redmi Note 10 5G with a new design. Redmi AirDots 3 Pro could launch in select markets as POCO Pop Buds / Redmi Buds 3 Pro

Xiaomi under its Redmi brand introduced the Redmi AirDots 3 Pro in China last week. Now the headset has been certified by Bluetooth SIG with the model number TWSEJ01ZM. There are also two other products Redmi Buds 3 Pro and POCO Pop Buds with the same model numbers, so the AirDots 3 Pro could launch outside China under these names. Xiaomi reduces MIUI Security app animations for low end devices

Xiaomi proprietary Android skin MIUI offers a security app that has various features including Cleaner, Speed Booster, WhatsApp Cleaner, and a lot more. The app got a major overhaul with MIUI 10, but Xiaomi baked in various animations to the Security app with MIUI 12. These animations didn’t probably work smoothly on the low-end devices, as Xiaomi has decided to ditch the animation with the new version of the Security app. Xiaomiui, a Xiaomi-focused blog, took it to Twitter to share the screenshots from the new Security app.
