POCO just announced the POCO M3 Pro 5G, the company’s latest mid-range 5G smartphone in a global event, as it had promised. It packs a 6.5-inch FHD+ 90Hz DynamicSwitch DotDisplay that is capable of adjusting to content automatically – from static content viewing at 50Hz, streaming video at 60Hz to scrolling social media feeds or gaming at up to 90Hz, has 91% screen-to-body ratio and a 8MP front camera inside the punch-hole. POCO M3 Pro 5G with MediaTek Dimensity SoC, unique design to be announced on May 19

Update: POCO has confirmed that it will introduce the M3 Pro 5G in a global event on May 19th. The event will start at 2PM CEST (5:30PM IST). As usual, it will offer live stream on its social channels. The press image of the phone has also surfaced online. POCO India extends warranty of its phones by two months if it’s expiring this May / June

POCO India today confirmed that it will extend the warranty of POCO phones that are expiring in May or June this year by two months. Due to current situation in the country several cities in the country have gone into lockdown so the smartphone users those who are facing issues with their devices couldn’t get them serviced. MIUI Global Stable ROM testing program announced for POCO X3 Pro, POCO X3, POCO F3, and more globally

POCO got an independent identity last year, but the company still uses Xiaomi’s proprietary Android skin – MIUI for all its devices. Though, POCO, based on community feedback, has added some features on top of MIUI and hence calls it – MIUI for POCO. Xiaomi had announced MIUI 12.5 Global a couple of months back at a mega global event.

Get Android 11 on POCO F1 with OxygenOS Port

POCO F1, launched back in 2018, has almost reached EOL in terms of official software support. The smartphone has already received two major Android version upgrades – Android 9, and Android 10 since its launch. Though POCO F1 is expected to receive MIUI 12.5 update in the next couple of months, it will remain on Android 10.

Redmi K40 Gaming Edition could launch in India as POCO F3 GT

Xiaomi under its Redmi brand introduced the first gaming-centric Redmi K40 Gaming Edition phone in China yesterday. The company did not reveal any details about the global roll-out of the phone yet. POCO launched the POCO M2 smartphone in India back in September last year starting at Rs. 10999 for the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage. Today it has launched the POCO M2 Reloaded smartphone with 4GB RAM with 64GB storage priced at Rs. 9499. It comes in Greyish Black and Mostly Blue colours and will be available from Flipkart starting from today, April 21st 3PM. POCO X3 Pro Review: Pro performer

POCO launched the POCO X3 Pro smartphone in India last month as an enhanced version of the POCO X3 and also said that this replaces the POCO F1 which was launched back in 2018. Even tough it retains the 6.67-inch 120Hz FHD+ screen, stereo speakers and a similar design with a slight change in camera specifications, this has a faster Snapdragon 860 SoC. POCO M3 Pro 5G will be a rebranded Redmi Note 10 5G reveals FCC; BIS listing hints at India launch

Redmi Note 10 5G was introduced along the Note 10 Pro last month. Now the phone has been certified by the FCC which also reveals that the Redmi phone with the model number M2103K19G will be launched in select Asian markets as M2103K19PG under POCO which will be called the POCO M3 Pro 5G according to IMEI listing. POCO just launched the POCO X3 Pro, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone as it had promised. It packs a 6.67-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with 3.8mm, punch-hole screen, 120Hz refresh rate with Dynamic switching between 120Hz, 90Hz, 60Hz or 50Hz and has 240Hz touch sampling rate, same as the X3, but comes with Corning Gorilla 6 protection. It is the first phone to be powered by Snapdragon 860 SoC that is clocked up to 2.96GHz, but it doesn’t have 5G support. The phone has up to 8GB of RAM, comes with liquid cooling 1.0 Plus with copper heat pipe and dual graphite to reduce the temperature by up to 6° C, and runs Android 11 with MIUI 12 on top.

POCO F3 with 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 870 5G, up to 8GB RAM announced

POCO just announced POCO F3, the company’s latest F series smartphones in an event, as expected. It is the global version of the K40 which was introduced in China last month and packs a 6.67-inch E4 AMOLED screen with MEMC, 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate, DCI-P3 color gamut, HDR10+, 8,192 levels of dimming and 2.76mm ultra-small punch-hole that houses a 20MP camera. It is powered by Snapdragon 870 SoC with support for 5G SA / NSA, up to 8GB of RAM and has LiquidCool Technology 1.0 Plus that has a three-dimensional heat dissipation system that diffuses the heat more efficiently so that the phone doesn’t overheat. POCO is all set to introduce X3 Pro, an enhanced version of the X3 globally and in India next week. Now the specifications and the image of the have been outed by Shopee Vietnam. This reveals a similar 6.67-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate, even though some rumours said that it will feature an AMOLED screen, but we will only know for sure when it is launched. This will be powered by Snapdragon 860 SoC with up to 2.96GHz clock speeds, up to 8GB of RAM and liquid cooling 1.0 Plus.
