POCO X3 Pro with 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz display, Snapdragon 860, up to 8GB RAM, 5160mAh battery launched in India starting at Rs. 18999

POCO just launched the POCO X3 Pro, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone as it had promised. It packs a 6.67-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with 3.8mm, punch-hole screen, 120Hz refresh rate with Dynamic switching between 120Hz, 90Hz, 60Hz or 50Hz and has 240Hz touch sampling rate, same as the X3, but comes with Corning Gorilla 6 protection. It is the first phone to be powered by Snapdragon 860 SoC that is clocked up to 2.96GHz, but it doesn’t have 5G support. The phone has up to 8GB of RAM, comes with liquid cooling 1.0 Plus with copper heat pipe and dual graphite to reduce the temperature by up to 6° C, and runs Android 11 with MIUI 12 on top.

POCO F3 with 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 870 5G, up to 8GB RAM announced

POCO just announced POCO F3, the company’s latest F series smartphones in an event, as expected. It is the global version of the K40 which was introduced in China last month and packs a 6.67-inch E4 AMOLED screen with MEMC, 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate, DCI-P3 color gamut, HDR10+, 8,192 levels of dimming and 2.76mm ultra-small punch-hole that houses a 20MP camera. It is powered by Snapdragon 870 SoC with support for 5G SA / NSA, up to 8GB of RAM and has LiquidCool Technology 1.0 Plus that has a three-dimensional heat dissipation system that diffuses the heat more efficiently so that the phone doesn’t overheat. POCO is all set to introduce X3 Pro, an enhanced version of the X3 globally and in India next week. Now the specifications and the image of the have been outed by Shopee Vietnam. This reveals a similar 6.67-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate, even though some rumours said that it will feature an AMOLED screen, but we will only know for sure when it is launched. This will be powered by Snapdragon 860 SoC with up to 2.96GHz clock speeds, up to 8GB of RAM and liquid cooling 1.0 Plus. POCO schedules global event on March 22, POCO F3 and POCO X3 Pro expected

After the company announced its India event on March 30th to introduce the POCO X3 Pro smartphone, the company has now scheduled a global launch event on March 22nd to introduce the phone for global markets. After posting teasers about the phone last week, POCO today confirmed the launch of its next PRO smartphone in India on March 30th. MIUI Global Stable ROM testing program announced for range of Xiaomi and POCO phones ahead of MIUI 12.5 roll out

Xiaomi announced the latest iteration of its own proprietary Android skin MIUI, dubbed MIUI 12.5 along with Mi 11 at a global event back last month. As per the schedule, the eligible devices will start receiving the MIUI 12.5 update starting Q2 2021. Now, the company has announced MIUI Global Stable ROM testing program ahead of MIUI 12.5 roll-out. Along with Xiaomi, POCO has also announced MIUI Stable testing program for a few devices.

POCO India just posted an image along with the tag #PROformance and said that only POCO can beat a POCO. Redmi K40 will be rebranded as POCO F3 for global markets reveals FCC, IMEI listing

MIUI 12.5 global roll out begins Q2 2021 – List of Xiaomi and POCO devices getting it

Xiaomi introduced the MIUI 12.5, the next intermediate MIUI update in China back in December, and today it has confirmed the list of features that are coming as well as the Global roll-out details and list of devices getting it, as expected. Based on MIUI 12, the MIUI 12.5 has  a strong focus on system optimizations. After a complete revamp of the system UI, its CPU usage was reduced by up to 22% while power consumption – by up to 15%, ensuring frictionless performance and graphics, said the company.
