POCO F1 Widevine L1 support expected to arrive soon
Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO launched POCO F1 couple of months ago in India, the smartphone has been in news since the launch for the good reasons except for a few issues, but the company has been very responsive towards addressing the issues. POCO Launcher for Android out of beta, now available for most smartphones
Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO launched the POCO F1 running on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with a skin on top, which company is referring to as MIUI For POCO. MIUI for POCO is regular MIUI with few new additions like POCO launcher, stock Android like quick setting tiles and others. POCO Launcher (Beta) was leaked early, later it appeared on the Play Store bringing several news features. After over a month of test, the app is now out of beta and is available for download for several smartphones. POCO finally addresses POCO F1’s screen bleeding reports
POCO has finally addressed POCO F1’s “screen bleeding” issue reported by several users. The company has released a statement saying that less than 0.3% of total users have experienced edge light dispersion, which can be fixed through service centres after the phone is examined if there is any issues. However this does not affect the performance or usability of the phone , it added. It assured that it would be working further to reduce tolerances. POCO F1 Rosso Red Edition to go on sale in India from October 11
After teasers, POCO has officially announced that the Rosso Red Edition of the POCO F1 smartphone will go on sale in India next week. This joins the Graphite Black, Steel Blue and Armored Edition with Kevlar back that were on sale from August.

POCO F1 Skins will go on sale for the first time in India on September 19
Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO launched the F1 smartphone last month, and the phone first time on Flipkart and Mi.com from August 29th. At that time the company said that it will be selling official mobile skins for the phone at Rs. 299. Today it has announced that the skins will be available for the first time tomorrow, September 19th through Flipkart and Mi.com at 12PM.

POCO F1 is Splash resistant, supports Quick Charge 4.0 confirms the company
Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO launched the POCO F1, the company’s first smartphone in India last month at a competitive price tag of Rs. 20,999. Today the company has confirmed that the smartphone is certified splash resistant by P2i, which is popular for its liquid repellant nanotechnology, so it is fine with everyday splashes and spills, but you can’t immerse it in water.

POCO F1: Now you can unlock bootloader within 3 days, Asphalt 9 issue fixed, low audio issue fix coming in next OTA update
Xiaomi devices are well-known for the awesome custom ROM support, thanks to the developer community. Unlocked bootloader is required to flash custom ROM on devices, and whether a user should unlock the bootloader of devices or not seems a never-ending debate. Resellers on global shopping portal used to take advantage of bootloader unlocking policies of some OEMs to install bloatware and modify software before shipping devices. As a resolution, Xiaomi introduced a wait time of 72 hours (3 days) to unlock the bootloader, which was recently increased to 360 hours (15 days). POCO F1 Review: Deal of the Century
If you’re in the market for a new smartphone, you’ve probably heard of the POCO F1 by now. An all new sub brand by Xiaomi, the POCO is aimed at giving you all out performance and all the other features you expect from a high end phone, at a very affordable price. Yes, we’ve heard that before. Heck the entire ‘Flagship Killer’ category stemmed from providing high end internals at a relatively low cost price. Now, before we do a deep down on the phone, let me just put it out there.
