Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO launched POCO F1 running on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with a skin on top, called MIUI For POCO. The smartphone has been in news since the launch for good reasons except for a  few issues, but the company has been very responsive towards addressing the issues and kept device updated as well. POCO F1 MIUI 10.2.2.0 stable update with 960fps slo-mo recording, enhanced low-light mode starts rolling out [Download Link]

POCO today rolled out new MIUI 10 v10.2.2.0 stable update for all the users brings new camera features including 960fps slow-motion video recording in addition to 120fps and 240fps, as well as enhanced low-light mode in the camera settings for improved low-light performance. This takes 8 photos at different exposures and merges them into one brighter, higher-quality shot. The company started testing these features last month in beta.

POCO F1 Armored Edition with 6GB RAM, 128GB storage launched in India for Rs. 23999

Xiaomi’s POCO launched the F1 smartphone in India in four versions, including a Kevlar Armored Edition with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, now it has launched a new 6GB RAM with 128GB storage Armored Edition of the smartphone in the country. The Armored Edition that uses Kevlar aramid fibre for a premium look and feel.

POCO F1 MIUI 10.1 Android 9.0 Pie stable update starts rolling out [Download Link]

Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO launched POCO F1 running on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with a skin on top, called MIUI For POCO. At the event, the company promised to roll out Android 9.0 Pie in Q4. POCO F1 gets a permanent price cut in India, now starts at Rs. 19999

Xiaomi’s POCO launched the  F1, the company’s first smartphone in India back in August starting at Rs. 20,999. After offering discounts during sales, Xiaomi has announced Rs. 1000 permanent price cut for the smartphone in the country to celebrate 700,000 unit sales globally. The base variant now starts at Rs. 19,999. The POCO F1 is available from both Flipkart and Mi.com at new rates.

POCO F1 beta update brings 960fps slo-mo recording, super low-light mode

POCO today rolled out new MIUI 10 8.12.4 beta update for testers that brings new camera features including 960fps slow-motion video recording in addition to 120fps and 240fps, however the company is yet to bring 4K 60fps support, which was promised couple of months back.

POCO F1 Widevine L1 support expected to arrive soon

Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO launched POCO F1 couple of months ago in India, the smartphone has been in news since the launch for the good reasons except for a  few issues, but the company has been very responsive towards addressing the issues. POCO F1 lacks widevine L1 support because of which POCO F1 users can not stream HD content on Netflix and Amazon Prime Videos, in response to users on Twitter the company spokesperson mentioned that company is investigating the issue. POCO Launcher for Android out of beta, now available for most smartphones

Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO launched the POCO F1 running on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with a skin on top, which company is referring to as MIUI For POCO. MIUI for POCO is regular MIUI with few new additions like POCO launcher, stock Android like quick setting tiles and others. POCO Launcher (Beta) was leaked early, later it appeared on the Play Store bringing several news features.  After over a month of test, the app is now out of beta and is available for download for several smartphones. POCO finally addresses POCO F1’s screen bleeding reports

POCO has finally addressed POCO F1’s “screen bleeding” issue reported by several users. The company has released a statement saying that less than 0.3% of total users have experienced edge light dispersion, which can be fixed through service centres after the phone is examined if there is any issues. However this does not affect the performance or usability of the phone , it added. It assured that it would be working further to reduce tolerances. POCO F1 Rosso Red Edition to go on sale in India from October 11

After teasers, POCO has officially announced that the Rosso Red Edition of the POCO F1 smartphone will go on sale in India next week. This joins the Graphite Black, Steel Blue and Armored Edition with Kevlar back that were on sale from August.

POCO F1 Skins will go on sale for the first time in India on September 19

Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO launched the F1 smartphone last month, and the phone first time on Flipkart and Mi.com from August 29th. At that time the company said that it will be selling official mobile skins for the phone at Rs. 299. Today it has announced that the skins will be available for the first time tomorrow, September 19th through Flipkart and Mi.com at 12PM.

Xiaomi’s POCO sub-brand launched the POCO F1 smartphone last month starting at Rs. 20,999. The company started selling the phone from August 29th, and the phone has seen Rs. 200 crore worth of sales in 5 minutes in the first sale. Today the company has announced that the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version will go on open sale on Flipkart as well as Mi.com starting today midnight for Rs. 23,999.
