Sony Xperia go durable smartphone that was announced in May is now available for pre-order in India from online retailer Flipkart. It has 3.5-inch Reality Display powered by Mobile BRAVIA Engine and is powered by 1Ghz dual-core processor and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread (upgradeable to Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich)). Sony Xperia S Android 4.0 update starts rolling out, brings new apps

Sony has officially announced on their blog they have started rolling out  Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) update for Xperia S phones as promised. This update would bring new lock screen with improved functionality, Resizable widgets and more new features. It would also bring new WALKMAN app that replaces Music Player app that also lets you share music and has Facebook integration. The new Album app with new UI would let you view, comment and share photos on Facebook other online albums. Sony Xperia ion coming to AT&T on June 24


The Sony Xperia Ion that was announced at CES 2012 in January would finally be available on AT&T from 24th June. The global HSPA version of  the phone was announced recently. It has 4.55-inch (1280 x 720 pixels ) HD Reality display and comes with 1.5Ghz dual-core processor. Sony has announced Xperia tipo and tipo dual, new affordable Android smartphones. These phones have 3.2-inch (480 x 320 pixels) 262 000 color TFT display and is powered by 800 MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. It offers xLOUD audio Experience and the Xperia tipo dual has dual SIM support with one touch SIM switch key. Sony Xperia Miro with 3.5-inch display and Android 4.0 announced

Sony has unveiled Xperia Miro, their new phone running Android 4.0 (Ice Cream sandwich) on their Facebook page. It has 3.5-inch display and comes with 5MP camera with flash, video recording at 30 fps and secondary video calling camera. Sony SmartWatch available in India by June-end for Rs. 6,299


Sony has announced on their Facebook Page that the Sony SmartWatch would be available in India by the end of June. Sony announced the SmartWatch earlier this January. Sony renames Playstation Suite to Playstation Mobile ,brings HTC on board

At E3 , Sony has just renamed its mobile gaming center from Playstation Suite to Playstation Mobile signifying a shift towards embracing more OEMs. In addition to the rebranding , Sony has announced HTC as its first partner to bring Playstation Mobile certified handsets.

It has 4.3-inch 720p HD Reality Display powered by Mobile BRAVIA Engine and with scratch resistant mineral glass displays with wet finger tracking and is dust and water-resistant. It has 1.5Ghz dual core processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Sony Xperia S running Android 4.0 surfaces in a video

Sony Xperia S running Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) has been spotted in a demo video from Thai site SonyXP. The video shows the music player which is called Walkman app and the new gallery. Sony to roll out Android 4.0 update for remaining 2011 Xperia devices starting next week, No ICS for Xperia Play


Sony Mobile has announced that they would start rolling out Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) update for remaining 2011 smartphones; Xperia arc, Xperia neo, Xperia mini, Xperia mini pro, Xperia pro, Xperia active and Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman starting next week. They started rolling out the update for 2011 Xperia devices in last month after it was delayed. The update started rolling out in India at the end of April for Xperia arc S, Xperia neo V and Xperia ray. All Sony tablets to get ICS update by end of May

Sony has confirmed in an interview with CNET that all variants of its tablet line will be getting the Android 4.0 ie ICS update by the end of May. This includes the Tablet S and Tablet P devices. The Sony tablets have been well received for their good hardware. The Tablet P is a unique dual screen device which folds up for enhanced pocketability.

Sony announced the Xperia P at MWC 2012 as a part of NXT series and unveiled in India this April. It has 4-inch (960 x 540 pixels) Reality Display powered by Mobile BRAVIA Engine and uses WhiteMagic display technology, 8MP auto focus camera with Geo-tagging, secondary VGA camera.
