Vivo NEX S with 6.59-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 845, 8GB RAM, in-display fingerprint sensor price surfaces ahead of India launch on July 19
Vivo introduced its NEX series smartphones – NEX S and NEX A in China last month, and the company already sent out invites for the launch of the smartphone in India on July 19th. Now the price of the NEX S, the top-end version of the smartphone has accidentally been revealed through Amazon Prime Day promo. The image doesn’t reveal the full price, but the source code shows that it will cost that it will start at Rs. 48,990, almost same as the price in China. The smartphone will be available for pre-order exclusively on Amazon India from July 19th reveals the listing.

Vivo announced Z1 in China in May, today it has officially introduced the Z1i, a cheaper version of the smartphone in China, after it surfaced last week. It has specifications as the Z1, including a 6.26-inch FHD+ 19:9 2.5D curved glass display with a notch, 90% screen-to-body ratio and narrow bezels, 4GB of RAM, Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Funtouch OS 4.0 on top and features a 13-megapixel rear camera along with a secondary 2-megapixel camera, but this is powered by Snapdragon 636 instead of Snapdragon 660, comes with 128GB of storage and a 16-megapixel front camera. Vivo has introduced V9 6GB, a new version of the V9 smartphone.It has the same 6.3-inch FHD+ 19:9 2.5D curved glass display with a notch, 90% screen-to-body ratio and 1.75mm slim bezels and runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Funtouch OS 4.0, but this is powered by Snapdragon 660 AIE with 6GB of RAM. However the cameras have been downgraded. This packs a 13-megapixel rear camera along with a 2-megapixel secondary camera.

Vivo at the MWC Shanghai 2018 showcased its Time of Flight (TOF) 3D Sensing Technology. This detects the time it takes emitted pulse light to return to the sensor to accurately map objects at up to three meters in front of it. “It enables new opportunities in facial, gesture and motion recognition, 3D photography and AR, expanding the capabilities of the next generation of smart devices,” said Vivo. Vivo just introduced its flagship NEX series smartphones as it had promised. The main highlight of the smartphone is its 6.59-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED screen with ultra narrow 1.71 mm bezels on the sides, 2.16mm on the top and an 91.24% screen-to-body ratio. It doesn’t have an earpiece, instead it vibrates the screen using Screen SoundCasting Technology that promise better bass and softer treble. It uses ray data compensation algorithm that hides the light sensor at the bottom of the screen, thanks to an innovative design. The micro-slit infrared sensor is also hidden at the top of the screen.
