Xolo has announced that the company has partnered with Broadcom to launched the Xolo Q1000 Opus powered by Broadcom BCM23550 later this month. Broadcom signed up for ARMv7 and ARMv8 Architecture licenses earlier this year and announced the chip back in June, which has four ARM Cortex A7 Cores. The chip has support for Broadcom’s BCM4334 connectivity combo chip with 3G HSPA+ (HSPDA: 21Mbps; HSUPA 5.8 Mbps) connectivity and and BCM4752 multi-constellation GNSS location chip. It also has support for NFC, up to 12MP imaging, Dual SIM support and 1080p HD video capture and playback. Xolo launched the Q900, the company latest mid-range smartphone in the Q CORE series few weeks back, we brought you the unboxing of the device earlier this week, here we have the benchmarks of the smartphone. It has a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek 6589 processor with PowerVR SGX 544MP GPU and runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). Apart from the Camera, most of the specifications are almost similar to the Intex Aqua HD that we reviewed recently. Xolo launched the Q800 as the company’s first quad-core smartphone back in March, now the Xolo Q800 X-Edition is available from online retailer Flipkart. It has similar specifications as the Q800 including a 4.5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) capacitive touch screen IPS display. This one is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor with PowerVR SGX544 GPU, unlike the Q800 that was powered by a MediaTek MT6589M chip. Xolo had be launching phones different variant of the same models in the recent period including the Q700i, A500L and A500S IPS.

It comes with 6 pre-installed themes and users can download 5 more themes online through the Xolo X-Themes app. Xolo has added the incredible Hulk theme recently, and you also get instant notification on availability of new online themes. It has appeared on the official Xolo website and packs a 4-inch (480×800 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core MediaTek MT 6572 processor with Mali 400 MP GPU and runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 3.0-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. It has dual SIM support with dual standby similar to other Xolo smartphones. This would compete with the recently launched Panasonic T31 that has almost similar specifications.
