It packs a 5.5-inch 1080p display with 86.4% screen-to-body ratio and 1.63mm narrow frame, is powered by Snapdragon 821 SoC and runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat) with ZUI 2.5 on top. Lenovo’s ZUK Edge, upcoming smartphone had already surfaced on TENAA and some benchmark listing. Live images of the phone surfaced recently revealing narrow bezels, even ZUK CEO shared official image of the smartphone along with the box and accessories last month, today the company has confirmed that the phone will be introduced at an event in China on December 20th.

Lenovo’s ZUK at an event in China announced a 600 yuan price cut for the Z2 Pro exclusive version with 6GB RAM and 128GB Storage that was introduced earlier this year. The ZUK Z2 Pro that was introduced for 2699 yuan will now be available for 2099 yuan (US$ 304 / Rs. 20,690 approx.). The ZUK Z2 that was introduced for 1799 yuan has received a 400 yuan price cut and will be available for 1399 yuan (US$ 200 / Rs. 13,790 approx.). ZUK Edge (Z2151) received TENAA certification in China recently and also surfaced in a live images that revealed Snapdragon 821 processor and narrow bezels for 5.5-inch 1080p curved glass display. Now it has surfaced on AnTuTu that reveals 6GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and will run Android 7.0 (Nougat), even though the listing on certification site said it will run Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). Lenovo launched the Z2 Plus, successor of last year’s Z1 in India last week, which went on sale earlier this week exclusively on Amazon.in starting at Rs. 17,999 with several launch offers. It is the same ZUK Z2 smartphone that we had unboxed back in July, but this has Google Now Launcher by default instead of ZUI’s launcher. Check out the unboxing below.
Lenovo’s ZUK has announced ZUK Z2 Rio Edition in China, just in time for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. It has similar specifications as the standard Z2 smartphone that was unveiled in May that includes a 5-inch 1080p LTPS 2.5D curved glass display, quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor, Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with ZUI 2.0 on top, 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, PDAF and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera, but this has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage compared to 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage in the original Z2.
