Asus already has several variants of the Zenfone 2. At the Computex 2015 the company has silently introduced 6-inch Zenfone 2 (ZE600KL), 5-inch Zenfone 2 (ZE500KL) and 5.5-inch Zenfone 2 (ZE550KL) with Qualcomm Snapdragon SoCs instead of Intel SoCs. It has a 11.6-inch (1366×768) screen, is powered by a either Intel Pentium or Celeron processor and has a scratch-resistant metallic finish. Intel introduces Thunderbolt 3 with reversible USB Type-C

Intel has introduced Thunderbolt 3, the next-generation Thunderbolt with USB-C connector offering 40Gbps speed, double the speed of Thunderbolt 2 and four times faster than USB 3.1. For the first time, one computer port connects to Thunderbolt devices, every display, and billions of USB devices, said the company. A single cable can provide four times the data and twice the video bandwidth of any other cable, while supplying power. It supports two 4K 60 Hz displays and notebook charging up to 100W with a single cable. Intel announces new fifth generation core processors with better graphics and speed

Qualcomm teams up with chipmaker Allwinner for 4G tablets

Qualcomm has partnered with Chinese chipmaker Allwinner to expand its Snapdragon processors to low cost Android tablets. Under this partnership, Allwinner will push Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 410 and 210 processors with integrated LTE into low-cost Android tablets distributed worldwide.

MediaTek Helio P10 Octa-core 64-bit SoC with Mali-T860 GPU announced

MediaTek has introduced Helio P10, the company’s first processor in the Helio P series. The new Helio P10 is aimed at mid to high-end smartphones. It has 2 GHz True Octa-core 64-bit Cortex-A53 CPUs and 700MHz Dual-core 64-bit Mali-T860 GPU. It is based on TSMC’s 28nm HPC+ process. MediaTek introduced Helio series of SoCs back in March with the Helio X10 Octa Core SoC at 2.2GHz per core and introduced Helio X20 with World’s first 10 core SoC with Tri-cluster CPU last month.
