Earlier this week GSMA that conducts Mobile World Congress (MWC) events every year announced that it continues to monitor and assess the potential impact of the Coronavirus and said that there is minimal impact on the event. It confirmed that MWC event will happen in Barcelona from 24 to 27, February 2020 as planned. It also said that it has implemented many measures to help to mitigate the spread of the virus and is continuing to add other actions regularly. Today, in the 14the episode of #AskMadhav, the company’s CEO, Madhav Sheth has confirmed that realme smartphones will get VoWiFi or Wi-Fi Calling support via update starting from this month. realme X2 Pro will be the first phone to get the update next week. Other phones will get the update in February and March.
Sony has started sending out invites for its MWC 2020 event on February 24th in Barcelona. This year’s invite just has an image that shows something like sky line.
