LG unveiled the Optimus L3 II, an entry-level Android smartphone and the successor of the Optimus L3 last week. It has a 3.2-inch (320 x 240 pixels) capacitive touch screen IPS display, powered by a 1 GHz processor and comes with a 1540 mAh battery. The Nokia Lumia 720 was part of the new effort from Nokia to launch an attack on the fledgling mid range smartphone market. With the Lumia 620 already attacking a lower mid level pricing, there was still a massive gap between the 620 and the 820, and that is now filled by the Lumia 720. The Lumia 720 in short is very sleek, sexy and youthful. That description might apply to most of the Lumia devices but it is perfectly apt for the Lumia 720 and you’ll know why soon, when you read our hands on impressions after the break. ZTE teased the Grand Memo at Hong Kong last month, now the company has officially unveiled the device at MWC 2013. It features a 5.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display, powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm 800 processor with Adreno 330 GPU and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). We have seen the Optimus G Pro, HTC One and the latest Asus Padfone Infinity, but this is the first Smartphone to be announced with a Snapdragon 800 processor. Sony unveiled the Xperia Tablet Z in Japan last month. Here at MWC 2013 the company did not announced any new devices, but announced that it would roll out globally in Q2 2013. The Xperia Tablet Z has a 10.1-inch HD (1920 x 1200 pixels) WUXGA Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2, Shatter proof sheet on scratch-resistant glass and has unique OmniBalance design similar to the Xperia Z smartphone. It has S-Force Front Surround 3D, Clear Audio+ mode and two in-built speakers for enhanced audio output. It would come in 4G LTE / 3G and WiFi-only variants.
