Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ with Quad HD+ Infinity display, dual aperture camera announced

Samsung just announced Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ smartphones at its Unpacked 2018 event at the MWC 2018 in Barcelona, as it had promised. The main highlight of the smartphones is the variable aperture cameras. The S9 has a 12-megapixel rear camera with variable aperture tech that uses f/1.5 aperture for night shots for a brighter picture and f/2.4 aperture for normal shots in daytime. The S9+ has a secondary 12MP Telephoto lens for live focus for bokeh effect with background blur. Nokia 8 Sirocco Android One smartphone with 5.5-inch Quad HD OLED display, 6GB RAM, dual rear cameras announced

HMD Global, apart from Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 1 and  Nokia 8110, also introduced a brand new variant of the Nokia 8 dubbed; Nokia 8 Sirocco and is also an Android One variant. While the core specifications remain almost same, there are few additions on board like the glass body for wireless charging support, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and more. Nokia 7 Plus Android One smartphone with 6-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 660, Dual ZEISS rear cameras announced

HMD Global introduced Nokia 7 Plus, Android One smartphone at the MWC 2018, as expected. It has a 6-inch 18:9 Full HD+ display, is powered by Snapdragon 660, has dual rear sensors with ZEISS optics that combine an ultra-sensitive 12MP wide-angle primary camera for both low-light and extra bright conditions and a secondary 13MP camera for 2x optical zoom.

New Nokia 6 Android One smartphone with 5.5-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 630, ZEISS optics, Android 8.0 announced

HMD Global  announced Nokia 6 (2018) and the successor of last year’s Nokia 6 China last month. Today at its MWC 2018 it introduced another Nokia 6 smartphone for global markets, which is an Android One smartphone. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p 2.5D curved glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, is powered by Snapdragon 630 Mobile platform, runs on Android 8.0 (Oreo), has a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, dual-tone LED flash, ZEISS optics and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. ZTE Temp Go Android Oreo (Go edition) smartphone with 5-inch display announced

ZTE at the MWC 2018 event has announced the Temp Go Android Oreo (Go edition) smartphone. It comes with a 5-inches FWVGA display, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 SoC, 1GB RAM. The Temp Go is not just one of the first Android Oreo (Go Edition) phones to go official, it is the first Go Edition from ZTE. Huawei MediaPad M5 10.8-inch and 8.4-inch 2K curved displays, Android 8.0, metal body, 4G LTE announced

Huawei just announced MediaPad M5 series 10.8″ and 8.4″ at the MWC 2018 in Barcelona. It comes in 10.8-inch and 8.4-inch versions with WQXGA (2560 x 1600 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display, is powered by an Octa-Core Kirin 960 SoC and runs on Android 8.0 (Oreo) with EMUI 8.0 on top. It has a 13-megapixel auto focus rear camera with PDAF and an 8MP front camera. It has a metal unibody design and also has a fingerprint sensor on the home button, below the display. Huawei has kickstarted the MWC 2018 with the MateBook X Pro Windows 10 laptop. It sports a 13.9-inches 3K LTPS display, and it is the first Huawei’s notebook with FullView design and a 91% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by the 8th gen Intel Core processors, metal body design, and the 10-point touchscreen display. Alcatel 1T 10 and Alcatel 1T 7 tablets with Android 8.1 Oreo, LINK ZONE CAT7, CAT12 LTE mobile hotspots announced

TCL Communication, along with the new Alcatel smartphones  announced two new 1T series of tablets ahead of MWC 2018. Both these run Android 8.1 Oreo and feature Kids Mode, a dedicated mode that comes with pre-loaded applications and content, such as games, kid’s camera, and drawing app and also has built-in parental control interface to set usage limits. It also has Eye Care mode, which is designed to reduce blue light in order to relieve visual fatigue. Alcatel 1X Android Oreo (Go edition) smartphone, Alcatel 3V, 3X and Alcatel 5 with 18:9 displays announced

TCL showcased  Alcatel 1X, Alcatel 3V and Alcatel 5 under new Alcatel 1, 3 and 5 series at the CES last month. Today at an event it detailed the specifications of the Alcatel 1X, 1C, Alcatel 3, 3X, 3V and Alcatel 5 phones along with the price and also introduced the first Android Oreo (Go edition) smartphone Alcatel 1X, ahead of MWC 2018 next week. All the phones have 18:9 displays, expect for the Alcatel 1X Go Edition, other 1X variants and 3 and 5 series have a fingerprint sensor on the back and Face Key face unlock.

LG V30S ThinQ with integrated AI features, 6GB RAM, 256GB storage announced

LG just announced V30S ThinQ , the company’s first ThinQ mobile device with integrated AI features ahead of MWC 2018 next week. Apart from the A.I features, it has similar specifications of the V30, but this has 6GB RAM and comes in 128GB (V30S ThinQ) and 256GB storage (V30S+ ThinQ) variants. Energizer POWER MAX P16K Pro smartphone with 16000mAh battery to be unveiled at MWC

Avenir Telecom, under its Energizer brand is already releasing smartphones. Today it has announced that it will introduce new Energizer POWER MAX P16K Pro Android smartphone with whopping 16,000mAh battery at the Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona next week. Few years back OUKITEL introduced K10000 smartphone with 10,000mAh battery and 10 days of battery life.
