Tata Docomo partners with Opera for a co-branded Opera Mini browser

Tata Docomo, one of the many leading operators in India, has partnered with Opera, the browser company, for providing a customized co-branded Opera Mini browser for all of its users in India. Armed with server side data compression technology, which the company pioneered, it provides up to 90% compression and lets you browse with much lesser impact on your mobile data balance. The co-branded browser is available for download at m.opera.com on all the supported mobile devices. That means everything except Windows Phone, we guess.

Tata Docomo launches Fujitsu F-074 Waterproof Android Smartphone for Rs. 21,900

Tata Docomo has launched Fujitsu F-074 Waterproof Android Smartphone in India. It was unveiled in Japan as ARROWS μ F-07D on NTT Docomo in Japan last year. It has a 4.0-inch (480 × 800 pixels) AMOLED display and is powered by a 1.4 GHz Snapdragon S2 processor. It runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and has a 5MP auto focus camera at the back. Tata Docomo offers 2GB free data per month and Double talk time with HTC Desire VC


HTC, in partnership with Tata Docomo launched the Desire VC, Dual SIM (GSM + CDMA) phone earlier this month. Now Tata Docomo has announced details about the double talk time and free data offers for the phone. They offer 2GB free data per month for 1 year and double talk time (Rs.398) for 3 billing cycles for post-paid users with the new Diet 199 plan. New Pre-paid users would get Double Talk time on select recharges for 180 days and 1 GB of free data per month for 6 months. Tata Docomo cuts Photon Plus tariffs, introduces Reload Packs


Tata Docomo has reduced the Photon Plus tariffs for the post-paid customers. The Rs. 950 plan offers 6GB of free data and the Rs.1200 plan offers 11 GB of free data. These plan comes with unlimited data that would offer up to 3.1 Mbps data speeds till the free data limit after that speed would be throttled to 153.6Kbps. These new unlimited plans also offer cash back of Rs 100 per month for 12 months from date of purchase. They have also reduced the cost of base plans.
