Evernote Finally Lands On S60v5 Devices

Ah! Finally, a proper Evernote client for Symbian has emerged, although it currently supports only S60v5 Devices viz Nokia 5800 XM, Nokia N97, N97 Mini, Nokia X6 etc.

Nokia E72 gets a firmware update to v22.007

The Nokia E72 has got it’s first firmware update since its public launch. There’s a new firmware update to version 22.007. Although the SW Update app on the phone indicates that a new phone software is available, one cannot update the firmware Over the Air ( FOTA) .  You need to use Nokia Software Updater (NSU) to get the job done. Nokia 5530 XpressMusic Special Edition & Retail Edition Unboxing

I recently received two different units of Nokia’s latest touchscreen S60 5th Edition device, the Nokia 5530 XpressMusic. This new unit is somehow a cheaper version of the 5800 XpressMusic, with a non-CarlZeiss 3.2MP camera, and no GPS or 3G connection, as well as a smaller screen size. The design though is cleaner than the 5800 XM, and it’s smaller in size. The software is also more advanced, with a more functional homescreen and kinetic scrolling implemented better across all long lists.

More than 41.7 million users and 18.8 billion pages viewed in 2009 – Opera Mini

Opera has published the State of the Mobile Web report of November 2009 statistics for Opera Mini, one of the most popular mobile browser.

According to Opera, the number of Opera Mini users has more than doubled to 41.7 million users in November 2009 from 16.4 million users in November 2008, which depicts the fact that the mobile web is expanding exponentially.
