Nokia E75 vs N82 Image Gallery

Many people have been wondering about the size of the Nokia E75, worrying that it’s too big or that it doesn’t easily fit in a pocket. In order to set things straight, here is a small picture gallery comparing it to everyone’s favorite cameraphone Nseries, the Nokia N82. From the images, you can notice how well built the E75 is, how small it is, especially in terms of thickness compared to the N82, and how pocketable its form factor is.

Many of my friends have taken a look at the E75 and told me that they would love to own one, as it looks like a usual phone, but when you slide open the keypad, you get all the qwerty goodness and all the power inside. I have to say that I agree with them.

Nokia N85 vs N82 – Part 3 : Camera

The Nokia N82 remains the king of the darkness in terms of picture quality, as far as Nokia devices are concerned, especially thanks to its Xenon flash. So how does the new Nokia standard, the Dual-LED flash perform in comparison to the Xenon, in pitch darkness? Are the pictures good enough? Are the videos better? Here is the answer to your questions, as the 3rd part of our N85 vs N82 comparison.

Nokia E75 vs E71, Camera Comparison

After having brought you an amazing E75 picture gallery, as well as a comparison of the device with its older brother, the Nokia E71, here is a comparison of both devices’ camera performance. Both handsets sport a 3.2MP camera, with no special lenses (ie no Carl Zeiss lenses like the ones found on Nseries), but with autofocus and an LED flash. Even though, on paper, the specs are pretty similar, the performance and the results speak for themselves. The E71’s pictures are grainy, washed out, have a violet tone to them, whereas the pictures taken by the E75 are more vibrant and more realistic. Nokia N85 vs N82 – Part 1 : Hardware

After having brought you the Nokia N85 picture gallery review, we tackle a small comparison with its older brother, the N82. The first part of this comparison is axed on hardware and design.

Both devices bring the black plastic and shiny look in the design category. The N85’s screen is bigger and more vibrant due to its OLED technology.

The N85 is shorter, due to its slider design and also thinner, making it more pocketable and easily carried in a hand. The replacement of the useless Gallery key (N82) with a keylock key (N85) is a welcome addition as it allows to quickly lock and unlock the handset. The Apple iPhone 3GS Review

A friend of mine Jonty sent me this review of the Apple iPhone 3GS from Canada. While we wait for the phone to launch in India, Jonty brings us a short review of the device along with some great pics. Go ahead and read the Apple iPhone 3GS Review – the first on any indian site !

I’ve been a long time cellphone connoisseur, and have used phones from all major platforms such as Blackberry OS, iPhone OS X, S60v3, S60v5, and WM6/6.1. Last week, Apple announced a new iPhone. The question that arose after the keynote was – Should you get it?

Nokia N85: Image Review

N97 aside, the N85 is one of the most recent Nseries devices offering a range of features and combining the best of Nokia into one handset. Many people are calling it the N95 successor, or the better N95 as it takes the flagship’s dual slide design but adds a lot more to it in terms of battery, RAM, internal memory and hardware features. Here is an image review of the N85, but we also have a video review that we will publish later.

The N85 is a slider device. The main unit packs a 2.6″ screen with an accelerometer that rotates the display to landscape when needed. On top of it is the speakerphone with the front camera and the light sensor. Below it are the d-pad which also functions as a Navi-Wheel, the multimedia key and the red and green call keys. Another set of keys, that only light up when the device is being used are the right and left softkeys and the menu button and delete key. Continue reading “Nokia N85: Image Review”

Nokia N97: Glory In Images

Here it is, the most awaited and anticipated Nokia device of this year. The N97 is upon us, with its glorious 3.5″ touchscreen, its numeric keyboard, its amazing slide and tilt design, its widgets and 32GB of internal memory. The N97 is here, and here are some images of the device in its awesome white color, as well as a few poorly-lit images of the N97 black silver color (the last 3 being taken by the Nokia 5800). We won’t say a lot, and will let you enjoy the pictures. The images speak for themselves when a handset is so beautifully designed.

As always, click on the thumbnail photos for the full resolution image.

TweetS60 Twitter Client – An Exclusive Review

Until recently, there was no native client for Twitter on Symbian S60. And then Gravity came, Twittix followed it soon and now the market is abuzz with a lot of Symbian twitter clients in the pipeline.

TweetS60 is another native symbian S60 client for twitter from RavenSoft which is currently in private beta and releasing very soon.

But the big news about this client is that, the developers at Ravensoft are also working towards a free version of this client, which is a simply an amazing news for all twitter addicts like me 🙂

I was lucky to be a part of the Private Beta of the client held very recently. So Here I am, with a first hand review of TweetS60 Twitter Client.

Review

The UI is pretty good, I especially loved the colors they have used in all the tabs. It has dedicated tabs for your main twitter timeline, @replies, Direct Messages’s, Your Favorites and Your Messages. You can do all the basic functions like Tweeting, Reply, Retweet, Direct Message, Follow, Unfollow People from the Options menu on the application.
