LG Watch Phone GD910

The LG Watch Phone – GD910 was glimpsed at the recently concluded CES 2009 event and is only a glimpse of what LG is working on for the next iteration of mobile phones.

Nicole Lee from CNet was lucky enough to gather info about the LG Watch Phone and was surprised at how easy it seemed to dial numbers on the tiny dial pad, even though the screen only measures 1.43 inches diagonally.

According to LG, texting will be done in a similar manner with a virtual T9 keypad.

The glass screen on top works as a capacitive touch screen, while on the right side of the watch are three buttons: the Talk, Clear, and End buttons, respectively. The Watch Phone’s speakers were surprisingly loud even at the event.

Mumbai-based Micro Technologies has a solution made for those of us who either lose or misplace a handset.

The Micro Mobile Controller System will help you to remotely manage your lost mobile handset. The solution creates a backup of all contact details even after the loss of a mobile handset.

Once it is installed on to the compatible handset, the user has to provide two add-on recipients mobile numbers, which could be a mobile number of any friend/family/colleague.
