LG G Pro 2 is the successor of the LG G Pro and is LG’s answer to Samsung Galaxy Note 3. The LG G Pro 2 is a worthy competitor to the Galaxy Note 3 and a healthy successor to the original G Pro, but retains too much of G Pro in it to be the device to beat this summer. The LG G Pro 2 comes with top of the shelf specifications including a Snapdragon 800 SoC, 3GB RAM and a 5.9inch Full HD True IPS LCD display.

Gionee Elife S5.5 Camera Samples
Gionee Elife S5.5 is currently the thinnest smartphone out there, but somehow Gionee managed to put a 13MP shooter on the back of the 5.5inch device although the 13MP module protrudes out considerably. The Gionee Eife S5.5 is powered by a MediaTek Octa-core processor and has a 5inch Super AMOLED display making it a higher mid range smartphone.
HTC Desire 816 Camera Samples
Earlier in the year, at the MWC 2014, HTC announced the Desire 816 as the higher mid-range phablet and it was launched in India in April for Rs. 23,990. The Desire 816 comes with a 13MP camera on the back and a 5MP front facing “selfie” camera. The internals are on the same lines as the budget Moto G, but HTC hopes to sell the Desire 816 with a larger screen, a much better camera combination and their HTC Sense UI.
Nokia Lumia 630 Camera Samples
The Lumia 630 Dual SIM from Nokia is one of the first devices to be launched with Windows Phone 8.1 out of the box, and of course, with a Dual SIM setup. It is a direct successor to the Lumia 620, but takes a different route in terms of the pricing strategy, moving closer to the Lumia 520 rather than the 620. Priced at Rs. 11,500, the device comes with a 5 megapixel camera, but without a LED flash or a secondary microphone to support it. Nokia have clearly gone for price conscious sourcing here, but will the performance beat our expectations? Sony Xperia Z2 Camera Samples
Sony announced the Sony Xperia Z2 at MWC 2014 earlier this year and it wasn’t much of an update when compared to the Sony Xperia Z1. The Sony Xperia Z2 comes with an almost similar body while the internals have been beefed up to match the latest generation SoC. Sony has decided to stick with the similar 20.7MP camera module on the Xperia Z2 that is currently found in the Xperia Z1 and the Xperia Z1 Compact.
Oppo Find 7a Camera Samples
Oppo Find 7a is one of the successors of the popular Oppo Find 5. Oppo Find 7a comes with a 13MP rear camera that can record 4K videos thanks to the Snapdragon 801 SoC inside it. There is a also a 5MP front camera that was designed for video chatting, but is being used these days for “selfies”. The Oppo Find 5 too had a 13MP rear shooter and it was a very capable one. The Oppo Find 7a is arriving a year later than the Find 5 and lets check out how improved the camera on the Oppo Find 7a is.

As you can see above, the 4K video samples is full of colors and details. The Oppo Find 7a definitely has one of the best 13MP camera modules on a smartphone and the software algorithm seems to complement the camera performance.

Motorola launched its affordable smartphone, Moto E in India earlier this month. We already brought you the hands-on, photo gallery, unboxing and the benchmarks of the smartphone recently. Samsung Galaxy S5 Camera Samples
Samsung’s latest flagship device, the Galaxy S5, was unveiled at the Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona and eventually arrived in Indian shores earlier this week. Motorola launched the Moto X in India last month. You might have already seen the unboxing and benchmarks of the device few months back. We brought you the photo gallery of the device recently. Here we have the camera samples of the smartphone. The Moto X has a 10.5-megapixel OmniVision (OV10820) 1/2.5″ 1.4 um sensor with an f2.4 lens. This captures captures RAW images using a RGBC (red / green / blue / clear) color filter and the chip automatically converts the image into Bayer format. HTC One M8 Camera Samples
HTC One was announced more than a year back and it introduced a whole new concept of UltraPixel camera. HTC gave up on the Megapixel race and packed its flagship camera with a 4UltraPixel unit along with OIS. The camera did well in low light conditions, but failed in normal conditions and many claimed that camera was a big let down in the HTC One. A year later, HTC announced the HTC One successor in the form of HTC One M8 and it improves the UltraPixel camera concept.
