Xiaomi Mi Band 6 could come with bigger screen, GPS, SpO2 monitoring, Amazon Alexa support and 30 Sports modes

It has been over 7 months since the Mi Band 5 was introduced with major changes including a new charging method. Now reports about the upcoming Mi Band 6 have surfaced. According to Zepp app code, a new device codenamed “Pangu”  and model number “XMSH16HM”. The Firmware and Resources files have revealed new features in the Mi Band 6. The “XMSH16HM” is the China NFC version and there is also “XMSH15HM” is the global version without NFC. OnePlus just launched the OnePlus Band, the company’s first smart band in India, as expected. It has a 1.1-inch AMOLED colour touch screen display with a range of watch faces. It has 13 dedicated exercise modes and is also IP68 + 5ATM water resistant so that you can take it for swimming under 50 meters. Lava BeFIT smart band with Temperature and SpO2 Monitoring launched for Rs. 2699

Along with the new Z series smartphones Lava also launched BeFIT, the company’s first smart band. It features a color display with a single touch-sensitive button below it. The screen shows Calls, SMS, Email and social message alerts. In addition to fitness tracking, the band can track Heart Rate, Temperature, SpO2 or Blood Oxygen and automatically track your Sleep. HONOR Band 6 with 1.47-inch AMOLED display, SpO2 monitoring, up to 14 days battery life announced

HUAWEI’s HONOR brand has introduced HONOR Band 6, successor of last year’s HONOR Brand 5 in China. It looks more like a smartwatch instead of band, thanks to its large 1.47-inch AMOLED 2.5Dtouch screen which is 148% bigger than the predecessor and supports 100+ faces. It offers 50m (5 ATM) water resistance, heart rate tracking. In addition to 24-Hour Heart Rate Monitoring, it also offers blood oxygen (SpO2) monitoring. Fitbit OS 5.0 rolling out for Fitbit Sense and Versa 3 fitness trackers

Fitbit has begun shipping two of their newly announced fitness trackers, the Fitbit Sense and Fitbit Versa 3. With them, Fitbit has also released their latest Fitbit OS 5.0, bringing major changes to the UI and navigation. The new update will only arrive for these two fitness trackers and not for the older devices.

Update: July 15, 2020 — Xiaomi at its Mi Ecosystem event announced the Mi Smart Band 5 for the global markets. It comes with straps in Orange, Navy Blue, Yellow, Black, Mint green and Teal colours. It is priced at €39.99 (US$ 45 / Rs. 3,435 approx.) and will be available at an early bird price of €34.99 (US$ 40 / Rs. 3,005 approx.) in select European markets.
