Are you waiting for the Apple iPhone 3GS to hit indian shores ?  Some good news for you. A user named Charan left a comment in our iPhone 3GS India Launch post and he has even mentioned the official price of the iPhone 3GS in India on Airtel .  This is what he had to say

The Iphone 3GS would be Launched on 9th August in India, The Price is 32000/- for 16GB Version and 39000/- for 32GB Version. I got the Information from one of my Friends who is working with Airtel.

Sony Ericsson Bao Leaked!

We just recently saw the new method of styling that Sony Ericsson has adopted in the example of Sony Ericsson Kiki. Well here is another phone which has a similar sense of styling like the Kiki and it is known as the Sony Ericsson Bao. Nokia Launching a 12 Megapixel Camera Phone

As we all know, Nokia may well be the only top brand that is let behind in the Megapixel race. Brands like Samsung, Sony Ericsson etc have announced their 12 Megapixel phones which are on their way to the markets while Nokia’s top cameraphone, the Nokia N86 sports only an 8 Megapixel camera.

Nokia said that it doesn’t believe in the Megapixel count and wishes to focus more on the lens quality etc. But since most of this is not known to public, they will opt for the devices from Samsung etc with more Megapixel count and Nokia will end up losing a lot of sales. Apple iPhone Video and iChat appear in Operator Inventory – Variants , Price and colors Revealed

WWDC is Tomorrow and the next gen Apple iPhone  has been leaked on an Italian Website SpazioCellulaire

See the screen of the inventory below showing all the different variants of the new iphone .

  • The new iphones are called iPhone Video and iPhone Video iChat
  • There are possibly 12 variants of the phone
  • 16 GB – 64 GB memory to be available
  • Its going to be available in various colors – White , Black, Orange , Green with Flower, Yellow , Red – This concept was bang on target Apple wants to carry the ipod nano colors concept to the iphone too

Some interesting facts about the colors are the Green W/Flowers , Yellow with fluffy bunnies

Even the price of the new phones have been leaked.

The 64GB version might cost $179 – $199 . Apple might charge extra for colors.

Some Anonymous source used the contact form on the blog and sent me a pic of what looks like the Apple iPhone 2009. Its not credible . I have never heard from the this guy before. So for now this is another rumour of the next gen iPhone.

The iPhone rumors just don’t stop coming . This time the rumor is accompanied by blurry pictures of the iPhone 3.0 spotted in Hong Kong. We have seen a lot of these features in the iPhone 3.0 software. It’s not clear if these were taken with a iPhone running the software or whether its the upcoming phone itself. There are no pictures of the body of the phone .

With the days nearing to the WWDC event the rumors just don’t stop coming.

  • Expected in 2 storage options (32GB and 64 GB )
  • Might be 3 new variants ex:the nano, pro and pro extreme (for apple fanboys)
  • We might finally get a cheaper iPhone as its the worst selling phone in India due to the insane price
  • But the models for the various countries will be decided by apple.
  • Macrumors reported that China is getting a Matte plastic iPhone
