After iPhone and iPhone 2.0 ( 3G) Apple might launch iPhone 3.0 in June 2009

A handset that set new benchmarks in smartphone technology will launch a third-generation Apple smartphone in June 2009.

AT&T, the exclusive iPhone carrier in the US, has confirmed the news recently.

The new handset promises to be faster than the 3G experience of current phones and should offer a “more seamless experience.”

AT&T to offer unlocked iPhone 3G without contract

Finally its happening!

Since the launch of first gen iPhone on AT&T network, we were all waiting for this to happen. March 26th will mark the arrival of unlocked no-contract iPhone 3G in US market.
Yes, if the leaks are supposed to be believed, AT&T will offer unlocked iPhone 3G, without any contract obligations. You just need to be an existing AT&T customer, and can purchase the iPhone with no in-store activation required.

The price is 599/699 dollars for 8/16 GB respectively. This is much more than the current contractual price, but gives its customers an option of selecting their best usage plan, unlike the iPhone pre-definced plans.
Also, the price is relatively cheaper than the unlocked iPhone available in Hong Kong and Italy.

Nokia 5030, 5330, and 5730 XpressMusic phones have been leaked just now by a dutch website called allaboutphones

The 5730 specs look pretty similar to our predictions  

Looks like Nokia will offer multilingual keypads on the xpressmusic series like we saw in the 5130 photo gallery

Nokia is certainly cutting costs . Its unveiling more and more handsets virtually online .

The Nokia 5730 XpressMusic is most likely to be launched online today at events.nokia.com

The 5730 looks like a  clone between a XpressMusic phone and a Eseries phone. The 5630 XpressMusic was out Just before MWC and 5730 looks like a fully loaded version of the former

Expansys posts N86 Available for Pre Order

Expansys is a major online retailer in  Europe and have quite some good reputation and if they are to believed, its good news folks!

Yes, they have posted on their website that Nokia N86 is available for pre-order from them. And what is more inviting and mouth watering is that they have also given it a release date which also co incides with the predicted date conformed by Nokia, which is, July 22, 2009, that does lie in the 2nd Quarter doesn’t it.

Nokia N86 might be Official soon expected to be Flagship Cameraphone

We have seen the teaser from Nokia about its 8MP phone.

We have learnt that this phone is codenamed Corolla as we have seen

This might be the successor to the N85 and have a model number of N86 .. Still not confirmed ..

Its going to be a N8x or N9x for sure .

Sony Ericsson Idou 12.1 Megapixel Camera Phone

Sony Ericsson today announced Idou which is it’s new high-end device, on the lines of Xperia but is powered by Symbian Foundation OS. Idou has a  12.1-Megapixel camera, with Xenon flash and a large 16:9 Touchscreen.

As of now we know Idou or I do U as a concept / codename of a phone. It might be the model of the phone itself.

Its a phone  running Symbian OS  .. Will nokia get new competition ?

Nokia is well known for its impeccable fashion of announcing new handsets in typical panache, like how no body would guess or expect. But in a recent video two new Touchscreen phones called as the Ivalo and Madeleine were leaked [Courtesy : Nokia Roadmap Leak].

The picture that you see above based on the way it looks or atleast how they want it to look is supposed to be the Ivalo. It packs a 3.5″ wide touchscreen, 32GB ROM, AGPS, FM transmitter and receiver, 5MP camera, WiFi, TV-out and Bluetooth. Wow thats quite some specs. Cool just waiting for it to land in the stores. Nokia E75 might be the latest QWERTY Touchscreen phone from Nokia

The phone has the metal / steel back cover like the E71 with a 2.4 inch screen, 3.2 megapixel camera, QWERTY Keyboard, Dual keypads, HDSPA,  and WiFi

HTC 2009 Handset line up gets Leaked !

If you are HTC fan or a Windows Mobile , PDA user or if you are waiting for the next Android phone from HTC who made the G1 Google Phone then some good news for you all !

Like the Nokia Internal Roadmap leaked earlier now HTC’s entire 2009 Handset line up has leaked ..

The new HTC handsets include the Touch HD Pro which succeeds the HTC Touch HD,Iolite and Iolite II.

The Android phone – HTC hero, the Tungsten for T-Mobile and the HTC Jasper for Sprint. AT&T will get the Topaz and the Barium.

The last one, the pink, HTC Hero seems to run Android. Nice to see more Android devices in the making.

Is Apple iPhone Nano coming soon

Rumours are rife about the launch of a smaller version of the iPhone called the Nano in the near future…some speculate as early as Q4 of 2008 (which ends in March 2009).

It is also predicted by these analysts that the Nano will be cheaper than the iPhone.

According to Kevin Chang, a JP Morgan analyst based in Taiwan, Apple is actually looking to “launch a cheaper version of the iPhone in the fourth quarter that could be based on its iPod Nano music player.”

Now this is good news for Indian mobile lovers. Considering the hype surrounding India as one of the fastest developing mobile markets in the world, it can be assumed that the Nano (if launched) will make it to Indian markets soon. Continue reading “Is Apple iPhone Nano coming soon”
