Amazon introduces new Fire HD 8 with Alexa support, more storage and improved battery life

Amazon has introduced a new Fire HD 8 tablet in the US. It has the same 8-inch (1280×800 pixels) IPS display, but this has more storage with 16GB and 32GB options, 1.5GB of RAM and also promises up to 12 hours of battery life. It also brings support for Alexa its own cloud-based voice service that lets you play music, launch games, read audiobooks, and more through voice commands. Huawei has announced MediaPad M3, it’s latest MediaPad tablet at the IFA 2016 in Berlin. It has a 8.4-inch WQXGA (2560 x 1600 pixels) display, is powered by an Octa-Core Kirin 950 SoC and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Emotion UI 4.1 on top. It has a 8-megapixel front and rear cameras and has a metal unibody design. There is also a fingerprint sensor on the home button, below the display. Asus has announced ZenPad 3 8.0 (Z581KL) its latest Android tablet in the ZenPad series. It packs a 7.9-inch QXGA screen, is powered by an Hexa-Core Snapdragon 650 SoC and runs on Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) with ZenUI on top. It is similar to the ZenPad Z8 (ZT581KL) that was introduced for Verizon, but this comes in 4GB RAM with 32GB storage variant as well, in addition to 2GB RAM with 16GB storage variant. It also introduced a new ZenPad 3S 10 (Z500M) tablet with a 9.7-inch (2048 x 1536 pixels) QXGA display with 5.32mm narrow bezels and 78% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by a hexa-core MT8176 SoC and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It also has a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button.
