Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 (Note 510) Photo Gallery

Samsung announced the Galaxy Note 8.0 as the Note 510 for the Indian markets at the Samsung Forum 2013 in Hyderabad yesterday. We got some hands-on time with the 8-inch tablet at the event. It has a 8.0-inch (1280 × 800 pixels) TFT Super Clear LCD display at 189 ppi pixel density, powered by a 1.6 GHz quad-core Exynos processor. Samsung Galaxy Note 510 (Note 8.0) announced in India

Hyderabad, March 1, 2013 – Samsung has announced the Galaxy Note 510 (Galaxy Note 8.0) in India. The Galaxy Note 8.0 was announced at the MWC 2013 last week. The Samsung Galaxy Note 510 comes with a 8.0-inch (1280 × 800 pixels) TFT display, powered by a 1.6 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean). Asus MeMO Pad 7-inch Tablet with Android 4.1 launched in India for Rs. 9999

Asus has launched the MeMo Pad (ME172V) in India. It was announced last month, and comes with a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) capacitive multi-touch display, powered by  a 1GHz WonderMedia PRIZM WM8950 processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 1MP front-facing camera with BSI sensor, 720p HD video capture at 30 fps and ƒ/2.0 aperture. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 310 and Tab 2 311 get a price cut, now available for Rs. 15999 and Rs. 12599


Samsung India has cut the price of both their 7-inch Galaxy Tab 2 Android tablets. The Galaxy S3 and the Galaxy S Duos smartphones got a price cut earlier this month. Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab 2 310 in India back in May last year at a MOP of Rs. 19,500 and the Wi-Fi only variant, the Galaxy Tab 2 311 went on sale in India couple of weeks back at Rs. 13,900. Sony Xperia Tablet Z to roll out globally from Q2 2013

Sony unveiled the Xperia Tablet Z in Japan last month. Here at MWC 2013 the company did not announced any new devices, but announced that it would roll out globally in Q2 2013. The Xperia Tablet Z has a 10.1-inch HD (1920 x 1200 pixels) WUXGA Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2, Shatter proof sheet on scratch-resistant glass and has unique OmniBalance design similar to the Xperia Z smartphone.  It has S-Force Front Surround 3D, Clear Audio+ mode and  two in-built speakers for enhanced audio output. Asus fonepad with 7-inch IPS display, 3G voice calling, 1.2 GHz Intel Atom processor announced

Asus has announced the most rumored fonepad finally at the MWC 2013 in Barcelona. It comes with a 7-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) IPS display, runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and is powered by a 1.2 GHz Intel Atom Z2420 processor. It has a 3 MP rear camera with 720p video recording and a 1.2 MP front-facing camera. It has metallic finish and comes with 3G support with voice calling features. HP Slate 7 Tablet with 1.6 GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.1 announced, starts at $169

HP has announced the Slate 7 Tablet at the Mobile World Congress 2013. It comes with a 7-inch ( 1024 x 600 pixels) capacitive touch screen display with High-aperture-ratio Field Fringe Switching (HFFS) panel with wide viewing angles and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It is powered by a 1.6 GHz Dual Core Cortex-A9 processor and comes with built-in Beats Audio support.  It has a stainless-steel frame and comes in soft black paint back in gray or red colors. Lenovo A1000, A3000 and S6000 Tablets running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean announced

Lenovo has unveiled 3 new Android Tablets, A1000 and A3000 with 7-inch displays and A6000 with a 10-inch display at the MWC 2013. The Lenovo A1000 comes with Dolby Digital Plus and font firing speakers, the Lenovo A3000 comes with a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) IPS display and comes with Optional 3G HSPA+ connectivity. The high-end S6000 has a 10-inch (1280 X 800 pixels display) and comes with optional HSPA+ support. All these are powered by Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). Penta T-Pad WS707C with 7-inch display, Android 4.1, Voice calling launched for Rs. 7999

Pantel Technologies has launched T-Pad WS707C, their new tablet with built-in SIM card slot for voice calling and 2G connectivity. It has a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) capacitive touch screen display with and is powered by a 1.2 GHz Cortex A9 processor. It runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and comes with WiFi and 3G support via USB Dongle for data connectivity. It has a 2MP rear camera and a 0.3MP (VGA) front-facing camera. The company launched Penta T-Pad WS802C-2G, a 8-inch Android tablet with Voice calling last year. Simmtronics XPAD X-1010 with 10.1-inch display, Android 4.0 launched for Rs. 8449

Simmtronics Semiconductors has launched XPAD X-1010, their new Android tablet with a 10.1-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) capacitive multi-touch display and Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It has a 1.2 GHz Cortex A8 processor and comes with a 0.3MP (VGA) front-facing camera. The company launched the XPAD X-801, an 8-inch tablet with voice calling support last month. Micromax Funbook P600 with 7-inch display, Voice calling, 1 GHz dual-core processor now available for Rs. 9499

Micromax Funbook P600, the company’s latest Android tablet is now available from online retailer Snapdeal. Most of the features are similar to the Micromax Funbook Talk (P350) that was launched last year including a 7-inch capacitive touch screen display and Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), but this one is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon (MSM8225A) processor instead of 1 GHz Allwinner A10 processor in the P350. It has a 2MP camera at the back and a VGA front-facing camera. It also has voice calling and 3G support. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 311 now available for Rs. 13900


Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 311, , Wi-Fi variant of the Galaxy Tab 2 310 is finally on sale from the official Samsung eStore. The pre-bookings for the tablet started last month. The 3G variant, Galaxy Tab 2 310 was announced back in February 2012, and launched in India in May. Other than the 3G support voice calling, other features are similar to the Tab 2 310 including a 7-inch (1024×600) PLS TFT LCD display, 1GHz dual-core processor, 3MP fixed focus rear-facing camera and VGA front-facing camera. Asus has officially announced the MeMO Pad Smart, the company’s latest tablet with a 10.1-inch (1280×800 pixels) IPS display. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 5MP auto-focus rear camera and a 1.2MP front-facing camera. It has Dual Stereo Speakers with SonicMaster Audio Technology for enhanced audio output. It surfacd on several online retail sites in Netherlands, Italy and Germany recently.
