Report: Amazon Android tablet coming this summer, enters production

Recently, Amazon launched the very own Android app store, which is amazing and it offers a lot of apps on good and reasonable prices. When Amazon launched it, we also told you that Amazon is also working on their first ever Android tablet. Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi officially announced by Sprint, coming out next week

Sony Tablet – S1 and S2 Honeycomb Tablets announced

Tokyo, Japan – Sony Corp has announced the Sony Tablet and has shown off 2 devices the S1 and S2 which are Android Honeycomb tablets. The S1 is a tablet aimed at rich media entertainment while the S2 is aimed at mobile communication and entertainment. Bear in mind that these devices are just codenames and we will know the real names once the company launches them in Fall 2011.

BlackBerry Playbook already received 2 firmware updates since launch

Back at MWC, HTC officially announced their first ever Android powered tablet which is known as the HTC Flyer. The device isn’t running Honeycomb like recently announced tablets i.e. Motorola XOOM, LG Optimus Pad. But the device offers a completely different experience compared to other tablets available in the market. Thanks to HTC Sense UI for tablet and HTC Scribe feature. Its 3G version is currently available in UK for £599 which is expensive, but don’t worry because there is always a solution. If you don’t care about 3G then Wi-Fi version of Flyer is perfect for you.
