Back at MWC, HTC officially announced their first ever Android powered tablet which is known as the HTC Flyer. The device isn’t running Honeycomb like recently announced tablets i.e. Motorola XOOM, LG Optimus Pad. But the device offers a completely different experience compared to other tablets available in the market. Thanks to HTC Sense UI for tablet and HTC Scribe feature. Its 3G version is currently available in UK for £599 which is expensive, but don’t worry because there is always a solution. If you don’t care about 3G then Wi-Fi version of Flyer is perfect for you. Apple sues Samsung over Galaxy S and Galaxy Tab

Apple introduced the first ever iPhone in 2007 and when it was out, it was known as the best device money can buy. Then each year, they introduced a new version of iPhone and the current version is also a good looking device and challenger for a lot of devices. The only thing which is stopping Apple to conquer the mobile market is Android. Android is currently ruling the mobile phone market in several countries. Gartner: Apple to dominate tablet market till 2015, Android will grow rapidly

Recently we told you that Gartner is predicting that by 2015, Android operating system will be conquering the mobile market and WP7 will be runner-up. Now Gartner is back again with another chart in which they are predicting about tablets. We are in the beginning of 2011 and we have already seen a lot of tablets, so that’s why we are calling 2011 year of tablets. A lot of manufacturers are planning to launch tablets this year and most of them are Android powered. So where do you think Android and iOS will stand in 2015 if we talk about tablets. Samsung showcases Galaxy Tab 8.9, 10.1 , Galaxy S2 and bunch of Android Handsets at Southwest Asia Regional Forum

Korean Electronics giant Samsung held it’s first Southwest Asia Regional Forum at New Delhi today. The company launched LED TVs , Bluray players,  Monitors, Cameras, Home appliances and Mobile Devices too. Since we are most interested in this aspect, let’s take a look at what Sammy showcased today. The Galaxy S2 along with the Galaxy Tab 8.9,10.1  were shown off.  Also a bunch of android handsets – Galaxy Fit, Ace, Pop, Pro were on display. The good news is that the Galaxy S2 is coming to India next month for around Rs.35k. The company did not reveal the pricing of the tabs. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7-inch WiFi-only version priced at $349.99 for USA

Samsung has confirmed that the WiFi-only version of the 7 inch Galaxy Tab will be available at its retail and online stores from April 10th onwards in US.  The Galaxy Tab runs on Android 2.2 Froyo OS, which is powered by a 1 Ghz processor and features a  7-inch TFT 1024 x 600 pixel resolution display, 3-megapixel rear camera, a secondary 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video chat, 32GB of internal storage, Adobe Flash Player 10.1 support, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0 and GPS. The tablet comes with a price tag of $349.99.

LG Optimus Pad Hitting India In June

LG is expected to launch its first tablet device, the LG Optimus Pad in India. LG Optimus Pad is the first tablet to feature the 3D display capabilities. This device is expected to launch during June in India.

LG recently launched the much awaited Optimus 2X and Optimus Black in India. And now, the company is expected to launch its first tablet device, the LG Optimus Pad in India. Sony Set to Release Honeycomb Tablet in US by Summer
